Coming from a perspective of a black man who has encountered varying degrees of racism and prejudice in my life, I can wholeheartedly say that Michael Richards isn't a racist at all. We all say stupid things in the heat of the moment and we all make mistakes. I've made a racist comment or two in the flare of a row and so did he. He's clearly remorseful and is able to make fun of his actions because they were stupid and I admire that.
