  • Anyone who thinks rodeo is animal cruelty is just plain ignorant. These animals are worth tons of money and are treated very well. As for anyone who says that these cowboys are hurting the horses are fucking dumb. These are 1300 lb animals a 150 lb cowboy is not going to hurt them. These horses are born to do this. This is NOT animal abuse.

  • it must hurt them for them to keep bucking like that. i mean the spurs must hurt.

  • my horse bucked like this the other day...and i stayed on!!!!!!!!! scareyyyyy

  • Guys, bronco riding is a sport where the horse truly enjoys himself. The horse is let into the arena and left alone to do as he pleases, and what pleases him is to put the rider on the ground. He is prized as a bronc and treated like royalty. It's a good life.

    -quoted from Monty Roberts

  • @XxEchoingSilencexX that does not explain why the men riding need to keep kicking them withe spurs...

  • I hope everybody how participates at this will be kicked by a horse so hardly, they can't go anymore!!!!!

  • @SoCuteLovely would u consider trying Saddle Bronc Riding?

  • I don´t have any word for this! Terrible

  • you cado et

  • what happens to "this great mare" after the show?

  • @Feathers181 wat hapens to her um she goes out in the passter and gets feed

  • @Feathers181 She goes to the pasture and eats until the next rodeo. These horses cost a lot of money, and a good quality bucking horse is one you want to keep around. I know some horses who are well over 26 that still buck like National Finals Horses. They're pretty majestic animals.

  • THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE!

  • @SoCuteLovely ur a fucking dumb fuck this is not animal abuse rodeo has been here longer then peta so peta can shove it up there ass

  • @mckinziehillropes So If I would put on a rope on your balls and hold it really and very tight that you have so much pain... for no reason or fun, would you call it human abuse then?

  • @SoCuteLovely idfc and even if they dnt have a flank stap on they still will buck

  • @mckinziehillropes no they will not buck! 'cause I they would do it withtout that rope arround their balls..... So it's not natural for them to buck

  • @SoCuteLovely ur fucken stupid u really dnt no wat ur fucken talking about the flank strap dnt even go around there balls and right now a flank strap should go around ur neck

  • @SoCuteLovely These horses aren't broken to ride. They are basically a step away from being wild. Without the flank strap they'll still buck, but they'd probably rear up more, and wouldn't kick as fluid, and it would be more dangerous for the animal. The flank keeps the animal safe.

  • @Alexandros1294 ooooh okay, thanks for the explainining :) Now I have a other point of view of this kind of riding :)

  • @SoCuteLovely Yeah of course. These horses pretty typically enjoy what they do. Accidents happen sometimes, but accidents happen in every equestrian sport, am I wrong? We care for these animals and love them just like you do with your horses. These are just rougher animals because they aren't broken in.

  • @Alexandros1294 okayy, well I am really thankful for your explaining :) Now I am really thinking diffrent about riding rodeo :)

  • @SoCuteLovely Thanks for keeping an open mind!

  • @SoCuteLovely It's not on their balls. For one, most bucking horses are mares, two it's put over the flank, not the genitals.

  • @SoCuteLovely It's actually not, you just don't understand it.

  • Why? Horses are NOT born to buck. Hell, they may be bred to buck, but they most often do NOT buck. Bucking is a response to the flank strap, it has next to NOTHING to do with a horse's breeding. They had to use a gelding's DNA, because the "bred to buck" thing is bullshite. They don't know which horses will buck.

  • @AnimalLeftist uf u rodeo u would no something right now ur talking out of ur ass

  • @AnimalLeftist Well they are bred to buck. Just because a great bucking horses breeds foals though, doesn't mean they all will buck, just like how not all horses will be great race horses, and not all will be great Dressage horses. They're trained, and the ones that don't buck get sold to someone to do whatever they want with them.

  • From a western horse magazine, made me LOL. "It takes hundreds of foals to get a few who buck". The process of cloning has hit the rodeo industry. Listen to this. "For a rodeo stock contractor, the price of cloning an animal is very steep, and the ACTUAL VALUE OF EACH ANIMAL MAY NOT BE RECOVERABLE". Why? They probably don't want to buck.

  • @AnimalLeftist Well a horse that doesn't want to buck is not used or forced to buck. The ones who want to buck are the ones who are used. Your argument is invalid.

  • this is horrible! i hate this kind of riding!

  • to the people on here who DONT like bronc riding: LOOK IF YOU DONT LIKE BRONC RIDING DONT COME ON HERE AND BAD-MOUTH THE ONES WHO DO!!!!!!!!! LEAVE US ALONE AND LET US ENJOY THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this really should be considered as cruelty.

  • @horsespaz Why is that? The horses are trained and bred for this. They love it.

  • @Alexandros1294

maybe they are bred for this. and maybe it won't hurt them.

but the horses didn't buck because they love to do it. they buck because of the tight belt around ther butt..

  • @Kraqueboom That's not true. They'll buck without the flank strap. The flank strap also isn't on tight. You know tightening the flank of a horse is how vets typically keep young fiesty horses from moving? A tight flank strap actually restricts movement in the horse. All it does is enhance the motion of the buck. They would buck without the flank strap.

  • @Alexandros1294

if they would buck without the flank strap.. show it to me!

  • @Kraqueboom I don't have any videos or anything. The reason they have the flank strap is to straighten the motion, so that it's safer for the horse, and more showy for the audience.

  • @Kraqueboom However, in Argentina, and Uruguay they do bronc riding without flank straps there. There is a video of it. I'll find it and send you a link. It's a lot different style from here in the America's, and it's also a lot more dangerous for both horse and rider.

  • @Alexandros1294

That would be really nice :) Thanks man!

    i'm really interested in it!

  • @Kraqueboom Alright. I'm having a hard time finding it, but I know it's there somewhere. I'll send it as soon as I can! =)

  • @Kraqueboom Last time I checked, the butt is where the tail is at....

  • @25cowboy1

sorry man, i didn't know the correct english word for it! ^^

  • @Kraqueboom, try to ignore mr. bucephalus. He is the be-all and end-all of bucking broncs, and he's 17 years old. Amazing, eh? What utter crap he spouts. He's well-programmed, for sure.. The flank is given a YANK just before the horse leaves the chute. How that qualifies as "isn't on tight" is beyond me. ALL horses will buck, when flanked, ANY horse, at all. "Bred to buck" is total BULLcrap.

  • @AnimalLeftist It's not given a yank. There is a TON of slack in that latigo on the flank strap. It also loosens as the horse bucks.

  • @AnimalLeftist Actually, I've flanked plenty of horses that were supposed to be broncs that never bucked at all. They just ran like sea biscuit... So your point is moot.

  • @AnimalLeftist Mr. Bucephalus hahaha. I love it. Maybe you're a little smarter than I gave you credit for.

  • @horsespaz One GOOD reason why?

  • why the hell do some ppl think this is fun?? poor horses,,

  • @Idababe02 That's a misconception really. The horses are specially trained and bred for this. It's really what they live for, and they love it. Besides, if it weren't for this, they'd probably be sent to Mexico or Canada to become dog food. Or France to become the main course. I'd say this is a lucky break for them.

  • selly sport

  • I don't like it. But I think you need a lot of courage to do bronc riding :)

  • You are all so sick -.-^

Everytime i just wish that one of the cowboys is falling down and get kicked by the horse!

  • @louisamusic01 I fail to see what's so sick about this. These horses love what they do... and wishing that people get hurt, really doesn't help your case.

  • @Alexandros1294 . "love what they do". Of yourse ;) I love this view ;)

  • @louisamusic01 Just look at their behavior in the chutes, and their ears. You can see it in their face. They are enjoying every bit of it. They're trained from such an early age to do this, and they are bred for it. Just like how Thoroughbred are bred to run, or Holsteins are bred to give milk. These horses are bred to buck!

  • @louisamusic01 How do you bloody think poeple break horses in? Before you break in a horse, this is what they look like.

  • @rspker123str Haha. Not everybody needs to break a horse for riding it ;)

  • @louisamusic01 Yes they do. It's an essential part of training. Horse doesn't just let you ride it the first time you get on its back.

  • @louisamusic01 thats mean. MY GRANDPA WAS A COWBOY!!!!!!! STOP BEING MEAN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @1horsemane1 Nah i'm not being mean^^ It's just my opinion. I don't say cowboys are bad people? o.O Don't know you problem.

  • @msjumpingqueenful I never used the horn anyway haha. I do plan on trying it someday.

  • You people on here who say " oh poor horseys!" are nuts. If u dont like bronc riding dont watch it!!!! Its that simple!!!!!!! Dont come on here and badmouth people who LIKE the rodeo and bronc ridin. Leave us alone!!!!!!! ~|:(

  • @msjumpingqueenful I've never ridden an English Saddle, but I've always wanted to.

  • @msjumpingqueenful Well I'm a bareback rider. I find horses more challenging to ride. They're more agile and a lot quicker. Plus Bull Riding is something everybody wants to do, nobody wants to be a bareback rider.

  • @msjumpingqueenful One horse died out of thousands of rodeos held every year. Wow. The same stock contractors that bring Bulls in for PBR Rodeos are bringing in Bulls and Broncs for rodeos like Cheyenne, the NFR, and anything the PRCA has. E.G. Sammy-Andrews, Vold Rodeo Company, Sutton Rodeos, Sankey Pro Rodeo, etc.

  • @msjumpingqueenful and if you hate rodeo so much, what the Hell are you doing watching rodeo videos and instigating arguments with people by even commenting. If you don't like something, YOU STAY AWAY FROM IT. Genius.

  • @msjumpingqueenful I don't need your "Oh so educated opinion" on horses, thanks. I love and take care of mine my way, and you can love and take care of yours your way. But don't talk shit on rodeo and say it's abuse, because that is not true at all.

  • @msjumpingqueenful 1. A cattle prod has almost no amperage, and only puts out 5,000 volts. 5,000 volts isn't even as bad as a bee sting on a human, so it would be even more mild on a horse or a bull. 2. Because there is no amperage, there is no burn, so it's not even permanent "damage." 3. Your average police tazer puts out 50,000 volts and quite a bit of amperage. So there is a HUGE difference between a cattle prod and a tazer.

  • @msjumpingqueenful You read that 100 horses died in a rodeo. Did you bother to verify the source? Did you even bother to check if the claim was credible? Do you just believe everything you read? You are literally too stupid to insult. Tazer's are not used on animals anywhere. There is a difference between a cattle prod, and a tazer.

  • @msjumpingqueenful When you're riding a bucking horse, it's not just "watching." It is so gruelling to ride a bronc, you have no fucking idea. The point isn't to fall off. The point is to ride and make it look good.

  • @msjumpingqueenful Those 100 horses you're talking about died during the Calgary Stampede. They were being led across a bridge, and it collapsed. The contractor was crying during the interview because he loved them all so much and couldn't finish the interview. These horses love what they do. They aren't forced to buck at all, and for the LAST GOD DAMN TIME, WE DON'T USE TAZERS. IT'S CALLED A CATTLE PROD. GET IT RIGHT.

  • @Alexandros1294 well wen a ride my horse i let it be is my friend my best friend and hes free

  • @ChubiChL So do I. I care for all of these horses, broncs and saddle horses alike. I'm not getting on with the intention of hurting animals. I'm getting on with the intention of keeping the horse comfortable so he will do his job. All of the rules and regulations are geared toward keeping the animal as comfortable and happy as possible.

  • @msjumpingqueenful What are you like 13? There are so many ways to train and breed horses. Just because you have your way, does not mean every other way is wrong and "animal abuse." Do some real research, get some experience, and stop acting like an immature brat. You're not quite as important as you think you are.

  • @msjumpingqueenful Rodeos are not animal abuse, and that's why I'm being rude. Because they're saying stupid things about the sport that ARE NOT TRUE.

  • @msjumpingqueenful Sorry, but forcing a horse to jump (which almost is the same exact motion as bucking) Is really hard on a horse's joints. I've seen horses break down from show jumping and dressage before they are even 12 years old. On the flip side, there are horses who are well into their thirties who are still bucking like champs and love what they do.

  • @msjumpingqueenful Chilian isn't a race. That's a nationality. Punk.

  • @alexandros1294 Look you say I'm an idiot just beause im hispanic show your intelligence level is 0 simple I know about horses.

I do trek and horseball. Believe me when i say that is stress and damage for the horse The horses do not love to put stress and to feel damaged they love the speed and feel the freedom... They love to have a connection with the rider

  • @ChubiChL They are most free when they are defying the rider! They are allowed to be wild with us! You're breaking their spirit when you break a horse in. This allows them to keep their spirit! They aren't stressed, they are having fun.

  • @ChubiChL They aren't scared and freaking out when they are in rodeos. They are simply doing their job, just like they do when they're playing horseball, trek, dressage, racing, or any other equestrian activity. People misunderstand rodeo so much, and it is downright annoying when people claim it's cruel because they don't understand it. These are horses that have always bucked and loved doing it. They dont' buck for the same reason your saddle horses do.

  • @msjumpingqueenful and a Rodeo know it all? Hardly. However, I am more qualified to talk about it than you are since I actually participate in the sport!

  • @msjumpingqueenful Hahahaha. I'm not going to ask you questions about Rodeo horses, because you clearly know nothing of them. Stick to your show jumping, which is a lot more hurtful to a horse than rodeo is by the way, and leave our sport alone. Bucking horses love what they do, and they've been trained to do it since they were colts. It's what they do.

  • @msjumpingqueenful I'm mean because people are ignorant and know nothing of Rodeo.

  • @Alexandreos1294 Liste im from chile Hijo de puta so just shut fuck up sport depor the same shit stupid gringo

  • @ChubiChL Oh you're from Chile. So you're a dumbass degenerate hispanic then? That explains why you're so stupid.

  • @gamorca1000 No it's not, you panzy ass.

  • POOR HORSE.. STOP IT!

  • @MojjefansetElin The horses are fine you dipshit. This is what they are trained, and love to do.

  • poor horses... i wish the guys broke their neck

  • @Thehorselover197 I wish you would break your neck for making such an ignorant comment

  • I can see why the're people who like this sport.. but really, I can't see any sense in it. I mean, even in dressage (hope it's the right word) you have the aim to get a perfect communication with your horse... in harmony.

But that... they are just toys, and that's why I don't like it. Men always have fun with animals, will it ever stop?

  • @MsLittlecandy The horses are having fun too. In Dressage the point is to have fun as well, dipshit. If it wasn't fun, people wouldn't do Dressage. This sport is to come in perfect sync as well, while the horse is trying to take you off. Duh. The horses are trained to do this, and they love it. Don't criticize something you know nothing about.

  • @gamorca1000 than dont watch it? duhh.

  • yeh horsy kill them !!!! kill the cruel peapol

  • @yuuki261 This sport isn't cruel, you dumb fuck.

  • This is not a deport

  • @ChubiChL No, it's not a deport. It's a sport. Glad you made that connection. Dumbass.

  • these animals are not squashed at the balls your full of shit lets see you get in their and try it mabee you will like it , or your too scared and puss out, not everyone can cowboy up so pack that in your bowl and smoke it ya shit talkin son of bitches. whos with me???

  • if you aint cowboy and you dont like rodeo im sure theirs millions of others that are indeed cowboy and love this sport whom would hate to hear these shit talkin comments and how cruel this sport is. that being said why waste your time bitching about it when the rodeo is always going to be here , there is nothing you can do about it so piss off haha i don't give a rats ass what you think , read the rules and regulations look into it before you judge it, LONG LIVE COWBOYS

  • This make me sick...

  • @flowerpowermeid Because you don't have the brass balls to do it or because you think falsely that it's cruel?

  • @flowerpowermeid than dont watch it

  • @flowerpowermeid What do you mean?! YOU DONT LIKE BRONC RIDING!!!???? wow. well, all i have to say is....RIDEM' COWBOY!!!!!!!!! YEEEEHAWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! yeah.

  • This is the dumbest sport ever i bett ya guys made this up... its cruel oh and so is bull riding to they tie all the ropes and crap tight and around their freaking balls they dont like that wats so cool about getting on a pissed off animal they want the guy off their back put them back out to the wild were they belong... the only time they should be buckin is when they r fighting with other horses, playing, or in an attack from predators!!!

  • @JustinsGal98 Wow this is the stupidest thing I've ever read. You don't tie anything around the stock's balls. For one, most bucking horses are geldings and mares, and bulls have to have their DNA preserved so we can breed more bucking stock. Two, they're trained to buck and love to do it from an early age. They're rewarded for bucking people off. Come on. Atleast do some real research and get experience before you make such a biased, and ignorant comment.

  • I personally think saddle bronc is the best. I bet a lot of these guys get their feet stuck in the stirrups. :) Woo! :D I love Todd Rangel <3

  • why is this bad? horse is pissed but not that mad, and he gets the satisfaction of throwing the rider...if anything the rider is taken the abuse lol. In the wild the horse would be more enraged more often and with a real danger of getting taken down and eaten by predators as one situation where a enraging confrontation could end in its dismemberment and not it throwing a rider and getting some hay afterwards.

  • yup very proudly bucause it techis us how to be men atleast real men

  • @MrRednexs The word “at least" is two words not one.

  • Comment removed

  • This is sooooo f--kn' wrong, how do you rodeo ppl look in the mirror?

  • @mallanbest proudly. very proudly.

  • @HIudown808 Best response I think I've ever seen.

  • @mallanbest Who are you to say what's wrong, and what's right? These animals are treated better than most fucking house pets.

  • even thou i am a bullrider i am so offended by people who wish these riders to get hurt and call them names so i think ill just say something from the bible who has no sin may cast the first stone or maybe an old one dont throw rocks at a glass house if you live in a glass house so please dont be going around calling rodeo people names because i bet there are plenty of names someone could call you!

  • Haha you hope someone gets hurt and that will teach them ? Pahahah yeah right cowboy gets hurt and gets back on! not like you pussy fuckin city boy. You get a paper cut and go to the hospital.. We get stomped in the chest and say fuck it I want back on ! Stupid ppl

  • I dontt hink its nice to encourage a horse to go crazy just seems cruel. to the horse the saddle strapped like that with the rider is a predadtor. I just hate it. i hate wild horse races even more.

  • Wtf is you're problem this aint animal abuse! Comeone i ride bareback and bulls, IT AINT ABUSE!! Come on down to a rodeo and go behind the chutes! They'll give you a tour! They trat em with respect and they are star athletes. It dont hut the horses either! Stupid idiots sitting on couches eating cheetos never going to a rodeo thinking they know ALL!!!! Retards.

  • Poor horses Y.Y

  • that's animal cruelty! Hope something hurts you and you learn!

  • @BissanIssan No it's not you idiot. Do some research.

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!!! whats your problem??!! this is animal abuse!!!!! ;o sooooo nice horse and you destroys they!!!!!! Icant say howmutch I hate this!!!! :''''(

  • @xBlesix why dont you try ridin an untamed horse

  • i hope sombody kill rodeo gays

  • @adirof what's your problem? this doesn't hurt the horse at all and there is no cruelty involved. so how is this wrong at all?

  • If all it takes is a low cost flank to make a horse or bull buck, then why do the contracters spend thousands on breeding? People need to think before they speak.

  • Comment removed

  • y'all obviously don't know shit about rodeo.. I've been doing it all my life and i can tell you that when done correctly, it is NOT inhumane at all. yea maybe some people that don't know what they're doing can treat animals pretty bad, but if you actually took the time to learn what the fuck you're talking about, you'd figure out that these animals are treated quite humanely.

  • are these horses meant to be angry because their ears arnt laid back ?

  • I only did such thing like this only once - even by accident.

I was on a mare and riding pretty calmly some western when she went nuts like these horses..

After that, I surely knew I had to pay respect to the people who sit their time out in events like these xD

  • "Horses pant after being worked.". BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

In your abusive world, they sure do.

  • Have you seen some of the other events in rodeos like fucking steer roping? It's basicly tightning a rope around there head and then letting them slam to the ground. If thats not cruel then you people have problems.

  • OK, yeah, they have a bucking strap on. How long is it on? About 10 seconds! These horses are treated like royalty, they get to do whatever they want. Run, buck, eat, what more could they want?

  • Comment removed

  • @MissSusieQ1998 Well the thing is the flank isn't even what makes them buck. It's what these horses are trained and bred for. It's just like how Holsteins are bred to give milk, how draft horses are meant to work, how thoroughbreds are meant to run. These horses are meant to buck! It's how they are bred and trained completely. They'll buck even without the flank and still enjoy themselves.

  • @Alexandros1294, all horses will buck. Or didn't you know that either? A whole year of experience, and the master speaks again! TOO funny. The flank strap is what makes them buck. Put a flank strap on a TB, a draft, a frickin' porcupine. They will buck. Hell, old schoolies will buck with a flank strap.. You are SO well programmed,. Scary shit. Maybe one day you will even LIKE animals. You know, when you are voting age. Maybe. I don't hold my breath, of course..

  • @AnimalLeftist Actually no. Wrong again. The flank strap doesn't make them buck, it just straightens the motion. Not every horse will buck under a flank strap. They've held events with no flank straps before to prove this, and the animals still bucked. It's what they're bred and trained to do. A lot of horses will just run even with a flank strap on. That's why good bucking horses sell for so much.

  • @Alexandros1294, so says the maestro, with a whole one years' experience. So sad, you don't even know how wrong you are. YOU have also said they are "saved from slaughter". Which is it, Mr. "I know Everything, even though I have zero experience"? Show me ONE event with no buck straps, beside the WHR, where MOST of the animals do NOT buck, since they don't wear the flank strap! Have you EVER ridden a horse that you LIKED? I mean RIDDEN it? More fun to torment them, in your little warrior world.

  • @AnimalLeftist Well, many practice sessions I've ridden in were without flank straps, and the horses still bucked. Or the flanks would fall off prematurely and the horses would still buck. Yes, I have ridden, actually ridden many horses that I like. I don't torment any animals. That goes against my moral code. I just ride broncs and have fun. One year's experience is more than you'll ever have, and it's not the years that count, it's what's packed into them.

  • @Alexandros1294 , hilarious, kid. Why don't you have those sessions on your channel then? ALL horses will buck, if they are handled badly, and even if not, they will buck a few times, trying to get the monkey off their back. That would be you. The monkey. If they don't need the flank to buck, leave it off entirely. But that would be no fun at all, right? Tell me this, too. Why is the flank given a bloody good yank, just as they leave the chute? I guess that's just for drama, huh?

  • @AnimalLeftist All the flank does is enhance the motion. It encourages the horse to kick higher and straighter, which is actually safer for everyone involved. They don't give it a "bloody good yank." Initially when the flank goes on, it isn't even touching the horse in the chute. They pull it so it is, and then it gets looser as the horse moves.

  • @AnimalLeftist and I don't have every practice session I go to on a video camera. Jesus Christ, do you want me to document every single thing I do that involves rodeo? Just go talk to any stock contractor. Ask them questions and go see how the animals live on their ranch and at a rodeo. Then start yelling whatever the hell you want, because atleast then you'll have seen things with your own eyes, and won't just be a flailing dumbass on the internet.

  • i HATE it -.-

  • Heard yet another common misconception about horse behaviour, from a rodeo lover. It is considered normal for a horse to gape his mouth. It means they are happy! Horses run with their mouths open all the time! Broncs ALWAYS have their mouths open when bucking (a clear sign of stress/fear/overwork). Some DVM's even say this., "If your horse is panting or open mouth breathing, you need to try to cool him down and contact your veterinarian immediately." Funny, huh?Funny Peculiar, not Funny hah-hah.

  • @AnimalLeftist No one ever said a horse opening its mouth meant they were happy. I said it was so they could breath. It's intense work for 8 seconds, then they sit in pens and pastures or in horse trailers. Horses pant after being worked. It doesn't mean they need to be sent to a vet... the horses end up fine. There are horses that buck for over 30 years, that have their mouth open while working and so on. Pretty sure if they lived 30 years, they weren't treated like shit.

  • do people breed horses for this??

  • Comment removed

  • Rodeo is the only sport that requires two balls :) Love it.

  • kid bucked off

  • GVD TIEFES MENSEN GA NORMAAL DOEN G A NORMAAL OM MET DIE PAARDEN OFSO DOE GVD TIEFUS NORMAL MET JUFLLIE .. HOOFDEN. TIEFUS LIJERS WEETEJ HOE ZILUG DIT IS. • Why don't you rescue some of these horses that would otherwise go to the kill pens, instead, at least they have a chance at living some kind of life. While some horses don't buck naturally, there are breeds that live to buck, just like gray hounds love to run, Pit Bulls love to fight. It's in there genetics. Last time I checked this is America, do something about it, or stop whinning. You lack the knowledge of the total truth.

  • Rodeo is for people that don't want to learn how to ride. Rodeo has killed Horsemanship, dead. The horses love it? Tell me what choice do they have? If those "cowboys" sat up, and the flank strap was removed, those horses would not buck. Horses buck when scared. They buck in play, to prepare for the predator. We domesticated them. Why do we "set them up", by making them buck? Dream on, those who say they are bred to buck. They are MADE to buck. Big difference.

  • @AnimalLeftist Actually, people who ride broncs in rodeos tend to be better riders than anyone else. The horses are trained to buck, and they do love to do it. You can't MAKE a horse buck that doesn't want to. They also would buck without the flank strap. I've seen it done many times. I've also "sat up" unintentionally on these horses and guess what... they still bucked. Your argument is invalid. Ever seen stock saddle bronc riding? They use regular saddles in that event.

  • @Alexandros1294, Yeah. Uh-huh. By your own admission, rodeo is NOT a display of horsemanship. It is horsemanSHIT. You tell me they are trained to buck, then you tell me these are horses that aren't any use. You send 'em off to slaughter if they don't want to "play". Stop acting like a grown-up. You aren't there, yet. Shouldn't you be studying for a useful career? One that doesn't involve tormenting animals? You keep insisting they love what they do. YOU love what they do. Keep the facts straight

  • @AnimalLeftist You're just a guy who knows nothing about the sport and assumes it's cruel because of a few videos you saw.

  • @Alexandros1294 , nope, I've hated this "sport" ever since I started working with horses, many, many, many years ago. Before the internet was born, kid.
