i carry kimber 365 days a year, they are extremely reliable. i had a few fail to feeds today, but it was after 500 + rounds of wolf (which is really dirty ammo) you can never go wrong with kimber.

I have to say Kimber makes some of the coolest 1911 clones i've ever seen, im partial to the Warrior because of the black finish and white grips that make it look stylish.

@mayalex94 1911's are great if you shop right... Steel Frame, Steel Slide, Forged Internal parts etc... But 1911's are also finicky they require a break in period of 500 or so rounds before they cycle without a hick-up after that they are work horses and a good steel frame will last up to 500,000 rounds. Its a TRIED AND TRUE AMERICAN!!! 100 years later there still kicking ass!!!

That came from the Colt guys for fear that they may lose the title to Kimber, I'm starting to see more and more about this debate everyday since I put my Desert Warrior vid up, I see some of the colt owners logging into new accounts posting, "If you like that Desert Warrior, you should love this colt" Cont-

That is just more of people being people on YT, If someone owns one, then someone gets something else they automatically will have an opinion and want to be in denial that something is better than what they have. I think the Kimber Vs. Colt supply Vs. demand tells the real story on which is better, Kimber has a year long waiting list, where Colt doesn't... That tells me many more people are buying Kimbers now, than Colts.

But my opinion on the Kimber Vs. Colt debate is as stands, very common sense, and very real, I could have bought a Colt, possibly bought 2 for what I paid for my Desert Warrior, I did not, I had my heart set on Kimber because they are beautiful, classy, eye catchers, have a reputation the best known in the world for 19911's and I knew how they perform just from the one I rented and shot. I buy my firearms for quality, and uniqueness, and Kimber has spoken as the best 1911 made.

I have never shot a colt, But to tell you the honest truth I really don't ever feel the need to after shooting a Kimber. I've only shot one Kimber in my life, and it was a range rental pistol, not even full sized 1911 I'm betting it had thousands of rounds fired thru it, It was clearly abused by the many who rented it out there, and the range guys failed to clean it, it was very dirty. I rented it, I fired 50 rounds thru it without even 1 jam, and it shot one ragged hole in target...
