Smoke 51 is a crapy product. I've tried several products this is the worse. The batteries last about two weeks. It's also a two piece unit and the cartomizers are awful. Stay away from this product.

But since I was doing so many reviews, and so many people were buying products based on my recommendations, I thought it was only fair I earn something from my work. Nobody really knows. These products haven't been around long enough for any firm science. Having said that i'm happy enough with my own and the anecdotal experience experience of others over the health benefits. You are cutting out tar and 40 odd carcinogens from vaping e-cigs as opposed to smoking cigarettes and it's one hell of a lot cheaper..

Terribly unfeasible. Replacement packs with a built in atomizer are a horrible idea. That is that making you buy a new hub cap with every tire... Also, the price of those on the site is outrageous. My friend has one he bought from there for 90 something dollars (after discount) and I have one I bought for $14, my batter lasts longer, the atomizer is holding up just fine (and if it fails, it's only $3 for me to replace it) i buy liquit nicotine viles (30ml) and it's only about $2/week to smok

I received a new set of batteries which were a big improvement over the first set I based this review on. They have a lighter draw, and don't need such a hard primer puff, but the switch is slow to start and slow to cut off after the puff. All in all, they aren't perfect, but are much better than the old ones. I can recommend them more highly now, and will re-do my review when I can. Meanwhile, see my new video blog post for a demo.

PG is classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA. It is not carcinogenic, and is already in a lot of consumer products like food-grade dyes and flavors, cosmetics, and medicines. Research is being done on the use of similar PG based vaporisors as a medical drug delivery system. And studies going back to the 40s have shown that PG vapor kills a number of airborn pathogens. In one study monkeys were kept in an atmoshpere with PG vapor for a month, with no ill effect.

True. But on the other hand, I'd say at LEAST 20% of the other batteries and atomizers I've received over the months have been defective. E-cigs across the board, of any model or manufacturer, have abysmal failure rates. 1 in 5 isn't all that bad, really, and so I take off one point out of five on the relaibility score.

And, besides, I'd rather have something fail that I only expected to last a few hours than something that I expected to last a couple weeks at least.
