right after that scene the four "cops" drove their bikes arond the corner and crashed in one major pile. the take was perfect except for the crash around the corner.

clint stayed in character until the end.......... he then remarked that he had been interrogated by the keystone cops. it's absolutely true. bob urich told this story before he died.

The guys in the other car are hoods and Harry is asking them if they know the location of San Quentin (a famous prison in the SF bay area). The idea is that they know where this prison is because they are likely former inmates (Harry is insulting them).
