What exactly does tool assisted mean and how is it relevant to this speed run?

@Kmaster02 essentially it means that it was played on an emulator, using save states and also in some cases tools to slow down the game so that pixel-perfect moves and spot-on timing can be used at will, giving the impression of a near-perfect game..or in some cases to demonstrate amusing things like santa link at the end.

Man I wish my NES played like your emulator. I'd love to bomb glitch the blocks, blow up enemies that are immune to bombs, blow up dondago from outside, and blow up walls from way outside the blast radius. Basically, I want your bombs

Nice. I was actually interested in how a speed run of something like LoZ would go. It must've been thrilling to be able to charge right in to everywhere and fear absolutely nothing. Lord knows I would have been.

Great run. Even if it is TAS, this is very fast. I like how you actually use getting hurt to make the run faster... but why do you keep placing random bombs everywhere? I realize you don't need them, but it seems like such a waste. =\

in lv7 he used his bombs up so it would go to the meat so he wouldn't have to go to the inv screen.
