It's just the way I play. I like playing fair, and if we are team-mates in a game, and I know you are better than me with a weapon, I would rather relinquish it to you than be selfish and get myself killed. I've been through that same betrayal situations many times before, where people literally kill me for the sniper, then get killed in 10 seconds. When I get betrayed, I either boot them from the game, or leave the game myself...

i'm a huge halo fan and i can't believe i didn't give this game a chance! i have been missing out! i was thinking of buying modern warfare 2 but after seeing this i'm definitely getting this game before i buy any other game! how does it compare to halo 3?
Personally I think Halo 3 is better but that is because I grew up on that game. It's hard to throw away and forgot nearly 4 years of Halo 3. But Halo Reach, while it recieves a lot of slander (from myself also) is a great game in its own right. I suggest picking it up soon anyways, cause Halo CE anniversary (if you purchase it) will give you more classic maps to play on :]

Well in Invasion slayer the teams have to capture territories to gain a new weapon/vehicle. This is why you don't see it in Invasion slayer unless the elite team capture a territory in the second/third phase.
In Headhunter, all vehicles on the map are turned into mongooses. This is why you don't see the wraith in this gametype.
Because I had a better view, and better grasp on the game from the center of the map. It is a lot more risky, but it is also a lot more rewarding and a better strategy if your team is doing better then the enemy team in controlling the map.
Nope I wasn't, also I was alone, so anything looking like objective holding ect was purely due to my team not me. Also never used my mic in this game so no communication to set up for objective playing.
@XxPR0H0LT3RxX But if you think about it he is, because if he is providing support fire it allows his team mates to get the flag easily and score. Now he personally didnt get the flag but in the long run it became a win for his team... plus he is a very good sniper.
the scorpion was over powered in the first halo game if the other team had a tank by the base there was no chance you were going to get close to the flag unless the driver sucked

When the game was first released the map featured a Scorpion instead of the Wraith. Due to mass complaints about the Scorpion being WAY overpowered, it was replaced by the Wraith. A good move by Bungie in my opinion.

Then when in forge, to place the flags, go on objectives and pick the flag objective. Then put it down where you want it. Then pick the object back up and go on the menu for it. Select the 'Advanced' option. Then go on label and change the label to what you want it to be.
Whenever I play 1 flag CTF on this map (on defence), I get my team (or people that will listen) to all put on drop shield, drive all vehicles into the base (Mongooses through the sides, warthog and revenant through the top, and park the tank on top) and we all drop drop shield and camp the base. My first ever online match in Reach was invasion slayer on hemorrhage. I had a tank spawn on top of me and I went flying to the other side of the map.

@redneksniper568 I will, but its getting a lot harder now people are getting better at the game and learning the map layouts. Still, I would rather have a challenge, it keeps the game interesting.

My first ever online match in Reach was invasion slayer on hemorrhage. I had a tank spawn on top of me and I went flying to the other side of the map.

If you look at videos called tele-launching, you can launch cross maps like you described.

Invasion slayer is a variant of Invasion where you get points for killing a member of the opposite team, and unlock new loadouts, weaons and vehicles by capturing territories. My team captured a territory, and a tank spawned on me. What's not to get?

Well there are a lot of people coming over from Halo 3 so this would make it there first time on blood gulch, and this will apply to a lot of people so tricking them should be easy if you had Halo 1 and/or Halo 2.
