Bob Iger is such a wise person - he really gets it. I'm so glad to have him as Disney's CEO and Tom Staggs will be a fantastic successor.

@joshuakburch Exactly, he and John Lassater are putting disney is on the right track, they do however NEED to work on their channels. They have 3-4 channels they fully own and not one of them air a FULL Mickey Mouse cartoon (except sporadically on Christmas), that's pure disrespect to the Disney company. They can keep producing crappy teen sitcoms and cartoons for all I care, but at least make a channel or a small block (even if late at night) dedicated to Disney's past.

Mr. Iger actually seems to be a good guy. Both he and John Lasseter respect Disney and its history, and I like them both for that. All that Anne Sweeney cares about is making money off of those crappy tween shows that ruined Disney Channel. Sweeney needs to be banned from running Disney Channel, and the only Disney-owned TV networks she needs to run are ABC and ESPN. John Lasseter can run Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior. I hope Mr. Iger does this in the future.

Is it because the people who own Pixar (the CGI animation studio they bought after being partners for over 10 years) are involved with all of Disney's animation now, is that it? Come on, the acquisition of Pixar meant nothing but good things for Disney. Animated film wise, they're finally going back to their roots (thanks mostly to Pixar).
