Let me clarify, she is not a Templar, she Is wearing the symbol of the illuminati on her vest, the triangle, plus the weapon shown is an illuminati weapon due to the fact there are drawings of it outside of a illuminati base/hideout in a screenshot.

@TheFightNight2010 look closer at the triangle, the symbol of the holy trinity is in the middle, its a triangle but the design is nothing like the Illuminati. the symbol on her first weapon is of the Templar plus there's a cross hanging from her gun barrel and the video title is "the puritan." face it, this kid's a Templar.

plus, the designers said she was :P

the templars are definitly christian.. their symbol is a cross so i donno what ur thinking of.. and demons and people fighting demons usually has to do with christianity and religion so i don't know how they could avoid religions...

actually all three factions are fighting the demons, and the Templars are the only ones with religous overtones. but from the way they were describing them they predate Christianity, plus one of those holy symbols I mentioned would be considered heretical by strict Christian standards.

btw, I got the idea that they weren't involving real religions from the official forums in a thread discussing official press releases. though I could be misremembering its content. too lazy to look it up atm.

As far as I know, cross has been an important and mystical symbol much earlier than Christianity, and in different cultures.

actually, they might not avoid the religions simply because people tend to associate fictional organizations and religions with real ones if they find similarities, especially, when there really were/are Templars, and not only.

@BlianDuland the cross symbolizes Jesus' sacrifice on it, it's not something they "stole" unless you mean it was a pagan symbol the Romans used, than that's kind of right, but it's not like how Easter and Christmas were pagan holidays made into christian ones, the cross has to do with Jesus dying on it, not people trying to make a pagan symbol "christian" if that makes any sense...
