Its bias because the keeper comes out by him self even if the player doesnt want him to... it basically means get past the last defender and ur literally guaranteed a gual

i have done lob goals but this does explain alot!!!!!!!!

also if anyone didnt know already (doubt it) you can press the shot button then press L1....the ball goes higher then the L1 + Shoot....so try Shoot + L1

its just a normal chip shot what is so hidden its obvious u need to turn 45 degrees away because thats how it wont get overpowered an fly over it all depends of the angle of the attacking player

Its not hidden... You max square because the fundamental aspect of this is the attacking player's ANGLE approaching the GK. If you are front-on and hold square to max you'll definately sky it, its because the player is running at an angle that allows him to do this.

i did this L1+square to lob till the max and it was very high above the goal, are you sure it isn't the square+R1 lob? with the less trajectory?

hate to burst your bubble but this is not the special lob. the special lob shot can only be done by certain players, totti, rooney, del piero, henry and a couple of others. you must be running straight, not at a 45degree angle. that simply makes it easier to chip it on target. you cabn be running straight ahead or sideways across the goal and must be using the players strongest foot to shot, he will then do a special curling lob, very hard to perfect

It's called the Hidden Lob not the Special Lob, read the Title! It's also called Hidden Lob by the Official Guide by Piggyback
