I agree with Alenyaa about David, he's just vague. And I don't really like the way his voice was recorded and the accent(sorry, I know it's yours), it's sometimes unclear and definitely stands out.

Face expressions: at some moments they're great, at some they don't really fit, but the most disturbing is when they're emotionless. Kind of confusing.

the biggest advantage is being quite interesting, i really wasn't bored. I also like the last scene, although falling doesn't look convincing.

Personally I don't mind David's voice having an accent, I guess it's one of his few defining features.

And of course, we have to bear in mind that we might get a better view on David in later parts.

Many series start off with the main character's persona being sort of covered in veils.

Speaking about accent, I took part in this because of lack of interest of other voice actors (well, there were some, but none of them fitted David), but most likely when this is done, his voice will be replaced by a casual American accent. Yes, taking the accent away (which was NEVER meant to be there) may make David seem more boring and flat, but as Alenyaa spotted, the characters may expose theirselves in later parts of the movie.

For as far as I'm concerned you don't have to change David's voice at all, but of course that is your decision.

Some other thoughts

You might want to think about integrating the starting/ending music into the scenes. Great music for the promised action scene(s).

David seems to lack a bit of personality, as in, it's hard to tell what he's about. You wouldn't say he's the main character.

Some movements/expressions are unlogic: Ashley at 4:28 for example, or David as soon as she starts talking about the book she's reading.

Others again are great: Ashley at 5:49, Josh at 6:28.

I think a much more appropriate question would be: "did I ever start that project". And the answer is unsatysfying. But recently I've been getting some ideas.

On the plus side

Generally I really like the animation. Some movements seem a bit spastics, bit I guess that's down to the Sims2 source rather than yourself. Textures are great.

Occasional close ups are great, allows us to take a good look at the characters faces. Nice touch.

On the downside

I don't like the character Josh, but that's probably just me

Vocals don't really match facial expressions or mouth movement (although again, that last bit is probably down to Sims2 again)
