I love this car i have an 87 fully loaded though engine has blown im rebuilding the engine from top to bottom i had the red version of it this one is blue two tone it changes into black. though i do have a question which the car seems odd . it runs at 4200 rpm, 5th gear going 80 can someone tell me if thats normal i need to know to find out if theres something else i should be looking at as far as itgoes theres no turbo its still fully stock.

but the first gen's are the better sports cars when compared to the second - they were purer and more Lotus-like in their approach, much like the third. Styling is subjective, but I dig the eighties wedginess.

I just did a clutch swap at my work on a 1986 MR2 non turbo. Not too hard of a job and the car drove real good for 180,000. It was a customer car so I didn't drive it hard but I'm sure it could be fun!
