I didn't know Petey growing up in Chicago but wish I had. I needed him as a teen in the 70's and would have loved to here him speak to the people. DC people were lucky to have him. The system is hustling backwards because it rewards people that think backwards especially in entertainment. It would be nice if he realized that he was simply a black minstrel act. I appreciate the fact that he's talking about something that is still a big problem today. An ex-convict has served his/her time. When he gets out, he shouldn't have to continue serving that sentence by not being able to get a job, or vote. Why would a credit card company give an ex-felon a credit card, but that same company won't give an ex-felon, or even someone with bad credit, a job. Like he said, "Hustlin' Backwards". I agree.

I didn't know Petey growing up in Chicago but wish I had. I needed him as a teen in the 70's and would have loved to here him speak to the people. DC people were lucky to have him. I saw show on PBS about him and he did so much even getting invited to the white house and Johnny Carson but didn't go so he wanted to stay in Washington because if he wewnt to Carson he would have had a nation wide syndicated show for sure.
