I can also honestly see them pulling a Pizza Hut and dropping the "Cartoon" from their name, seeing as how more than half of their programming is live action. The sad thing is, the cartoons that they DO show are miles better than the live action shows. Chowder is about to hit it's last episode though, and I have no idea how long Flapjack will last.
While I have no idea what your reference to Pizza Hut means, I've speculated the same thing. I personally think Turner should've just made a new channel for these live action shows (he's got money to blow his nose into, so why not?) or else make a kids' block on one of his existing channels. But whatever--I'll be too busy watching Boomerang to pay attention to CN's descent into television hell. They don't really air any quality shows (though Chowder is funny) anymore anyway.
Yeah....as for the Pizza Hut thing, since they are expanding to other things besides pizza like sandwhiches and pasta, they are considering dropping "pizza" from their name and just being called "The Hut". I will not be surprised if I see a channel called "The Network" in CN's place one day.

Apparently, Turner is putting golf on CN for two reasons:
1) To get kids interested in golf at a young age (so, technically, subliminal advertising on an obvious level)

I fear that they're planning on rebranding the channel. I doubt that the next generation will have a channnel to look forward to cartoons on :-(
