those are called water blisters and you get them after severe sunburns i had dozens on my shoulders and back. ur not supposed to pop them, they are there to protect the burnt skin until it can support itself, and the blisters eventually leak on their own.

btw: those hurt very badly and i got slapped on the shoulder when i had mine :p

The summer of '08 I got sun poison on my face. My face was literally as red as a um...fire truck, fire hydrant etc. It was a pretty bold red, yet it didnt hurt which was weird, but yea. The sun poison went away though, my face took a while to get back to normal color. Never gonna go to the beach and not put sunscreen on my face for 2 days again xD. I'll probly get skin cancer, I hope I dont. But if so, I'll try and get treatment. =D! HAPPY BURNING! XD

It doesn't hurt at all actually, try it :). I'm basing this on mildy salted WARM water mind, not red hot , and not like loads of salt. you . And the blister i had was on my big toe and pretty infected, plus it had grown over another one which was already popped so at the moment my toe looks like someones face during a police riot lol plus i tried to cut some of the dead skin of so the fresh skin underneath is still raw
