Say what you will, but as pretty as ADA scapes are, they're too clean and sterile to really look natural. They look beautiful, yes, and the products are excellent. But still, there's nothing quite like a tank that's been set up for years, with a wild, jungle look
Huge fan of Amano and ADA products. My tank feels like a goldfish bowl compared to his WORST tank. Thanks for setting the bar so high that I can spend 20 years trying to get my game to this level. Amazing stuff. Thanks for the inspiration.
@ENRIQUEGOITIA I agree. Looks like something NASA would use on the Space Station. It makes me think of the Apple products machined from a brick of metal. Why would you ever want to hide a filter that looks that cool?
@swormaster12 they are beneficial additives - we always prefer to use them as it has a way of bringing the system to balance much easier, however are they absolutely 100% required to be successful? No.
I would love to know how much this entire package costs. I have been wanting a tank like this for years. Im a salty guy, so I don't know what all of those products do specifically. A guy on our local forums sold a lilly pipe and it took a few of us to google it to find out what it was. That is such a clean setup, please list the items with links so we can get to preparing for a purchase!
it would be good if u wud hav explained the function of each powder u sprinkled in the beginning. without the knowledge of result delivered by each of your product, it all ends up as incomprehensible jargons to the average client. so from a marketing perspective, the entire purpose of your broadcasting such videos gets defeated. kudos!
would like to see an update of the tank. curious to see how the hair grass would turn out.
@dclx5i I'm totally fine with that being in the form of a write-up. for the purposes of a tutorial video like this they're assuming a base level understanding of their product line, if they went into detail for everything they lay down it'd triple the length of the video.
@U2Kent I appreciate the explanation you gave in your last reply. However you have collapsed all the respect in me you garnered from this reply of yours. It is sad that to boost your ego you need to stoop down to levels similar to that of a "Grammar Nazi". My intent of the comment was positive. Your intent is clearly to belittle me and to show your arrogance. The internet is a medium of free speech and opinions. So why are discomforted over me having an opinion? Do I not have the right?
gf225- thats a pretty standard depth, actually. No special "reason". Power Sand Spevial does have Clear Super and Bacter 100, but we like to add some extra, as does Mr. Amano.

@dclx5i also it's hard to take someone's marketing advise seriously when they have sentences like "if u wud hav..."

A lovely production featuring some of the best products the aquascaping hobby has to offer.
A couple of questions, if I may?
1. What's the reason for such a deep substrate at the front?
2. I thought Power Sand Special already contained Tourmaline BC and Clear Super?
Looking forward to Episode 2!
