I'm from Pakistan. Take it from me, if we did not have nukes, India must have ruined us with their nukes. So we had to have nukes for our national security to keep India away. Either everyone in world wipe off nukes from this planet or allow everyone to have it for their national security. No double standards.

I think the reason why N.Korea is a more threat than other countries like Iran and other mid-eastern countries is because N.Korea has nothing than weapons. They only have weapons. No oil or any nourishing natural resources orobviously notmuchtechnology. I should think America's focus to be on interception technology rather than policing who has what. More defense, less offense will win us the game of peace seeking.

Korea made a deal not to posses these things with the U.N.- not solely America, and although I agree with your last statement we need to remember America isn't the only country involved in this. We are not really "rash" about things either so the U.N. and other countries probably expect us to do something.

It seems to me if America can not get a grasp on an effective gun control law within it's own borders, how effective will we (or the UN) be on a Global scale, that's reality.
Therefore, "protect and defend" along with "live and let live" have got to be the mottoes of the day. Otherwise, we will be in perpetual wars likely not won and at great cost.

Seoul is great! Tax rates are set at 3% over here. The food is not engineered and the economic future is bright. The language is difficult though, but getting better. The dear leader is more of a nuisance and a charity case than a nuclear threat....안영히갔아요 dude!

1)am not sure that its just to make iran in bar with pakistan , israel, india etc.. for the simple fact that unlike them.. iran does not have a nuclear bomb.. and has no intentions to get one

North Korea shouldn't be a concern to the U.S. but they make sure that it seems that way. China & Russia are more than capable of handling situations in their own area. They don't need the U.S. in there with their nose shoved so far up everyone's ass that nobody can fart without them making a big deal of it. This is not a serious issue for the US, but its a serious issue for anyone they can reach with those nuclear weapons. So, just because you have a nuclear weapon doesn't mean you have all the needed ingredients to hit the target. Ask this questions. Where did they get the information to build these weapons? As far as everyone should give up there nuclear weapons that doesn't seem like a realistic solution.
