@urkingod Share news reports with him and subscribe to newsletters/groups of people who possible food shortages...many of my friends are not doing this; I encourage them to do so.Make it a daily effort to prepare for this, whether it is dehydrating foods, preparing my garden beds, shopping for thrift-store mason jars (buy new lids), or visiting foreign food markets to see the dried goods they have to sell. Begin by explaining that rising costs of food/fuel are a reason to start saving/preparing.
