Not to be an ass or anything, but does anyone else think at 2:40 or so (when Idris climbs into the fire) that this could easily be taken out of context, if you catch my meaning?
:-) Dragon enjoy himself a little TOO much, if you catch my drift.
@asquire2007 Not just in the 60s! Oliver postgate made my parents happy and now he makes me happy too! And I hope that one day he will make my children happy :)
Wonderful to revisit one of my favourite programmes!!! I note that Mr. Jones' first name is Edwin - there used to be a department store in Southampton in my youth called Edwin Jones!
Thank you to all who've posted these videos and RIP Oliver Postgate, a unique talent no longer appreciated in the commercialism that is now children's TV
I was once stranded at Crewe when travelling to Scotland as they had cancelled a train and the guard told me the same thing! British rail isn't run for the convenience of passengers! (substotute passengers for dragons)
Ended up getting them to let me on the mail train to Aberdeen and they put on a special stop for me....
brilliant brings many memories i loved it,,, see even regulations existed back then :)

So where does Idris go when Ivor's shut up at night? Surely he can't have his fire lit all the time.

The fire sequence used to freak me out as a kid! Guess my 3 year old self wasn't used to that much drama in this kind of program, lol!
