@aussiesteveable What blades are you using? I think Superblades XP are the best for this heli...super stable! They do make the heli have a tendancy to pitch up though in forward flight, especially when giving aft cyclic to arrest your forward movement. Are you practicing on a sim? That will help a lot. Once you move into forward flight and are comfy doing that, the sky's the limit! Keep at it mate!
@CKZBinMO Hi - i am using stock blades ... and yes i have clear view flight sim in which i practice with everyday . But i find in real life the heli handles very differently ! i have trouble getting the heli back to me once i do a few circuits. In the sim however, i can simply back the throttle off and the heli comes down - ?! but not in real life ! i need more practice , but every time i crash i feel frustrated - still i am driven by the will to succeed .
Wow, you are doing safe and controlled flights, I wonder what settings and Models you used fo training in Clearview Simulator? Safe and happy flights :-))
@DirkME1022 I pretty much fly everything available in Clearview. I only fly on the realistic settings. Takes a lot of practice but eventually forward flight was easy. I'm flying a flybarless collective pitch heli now too.
@CKZBinMO Wow, will you do a video of this Helicopter too? I am on the Clearview T-Rex 450 EASY with Elevator and Aileron 30 and slide-control 20 until I feel very comfortable, after that I go 10 down each and hope to get to the 0 soon :-)) Thanks for sharing ;-)
Fantastic ! I am trying to do forward flight with my honey bee V2 ... but keep crashing - lol . I am not giving up though !
