What HoshiiKoba said... my laptop ran Windows Vista (home basic) before, not caring about Aero at all (I gave up when I found out what Aero was and how basic couldn't take it) Windows Vista was a good operating system, it looked good when I Finally began using Aero on my laptop. Still though, it didn't always freeze up or crash or anything, no plugin failures, everything was fine as long as I wasn't in Power Saver mode.

Windows 7 is a lot better than Windows Vista. Windows 7 is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista applications and drivers. Especially with the new Windows XP mode you can download for Windows 7 proffesional and Windows 7 Ultimate. :D

There's this new convienient feature in Windows 7 called Aero Snap. It's really conveinient and I use it sometimes.

Vista doesn't suck, it just treats me like I'm simple XD I get annoyed with it. It tells me obvious things alot, but I guess I'm just not used to it. A little to ignorant to find out how to stop it doing things like that too.

Once I set the UAC protection level in Windows 7 to maximum, I started figuring out that my computer was doing stuff that I never new it was doing before I had Windows Vista. Because if my computer was doing all that stuff in Windows 7, then who knows if Windows XP did it to!?

There ARE some reason why Vista can suck. For instance, you can't save multiple screen shots to the temp. Another thing that bugs me about it is that it doesn't have AppLocale, which makes it difficult for me to play some of my foreign games. The regional settings don't work for all of them either.

I WILL say that Vista's security measures and graphic quality are extraordinary. I'm stuck between Vista and XP, but I'm hoping in future Windows will be better than both.
