what a wonderful movie! One of best ever made from china cinema. It prove...with love we can climb every mountain to reach the one you love no matter what. Pure,courage,simple,truth,love are the reflect of the movie's theme. Some peaple may though the power of love makes you crazy but, sometimes it gives you wings to get your goal...your love.

Love told simply. The picture of mum and dad is the window to the whole story. The red jacket becomes the road that we walk. The widow's monologue in the class after the husband's death is something out of this world. The classroom becomes the altar where the marriage vows are sealed. Then there is the broken plate and hair clip. No sex, no kissing....just the ordinary...love is ordinary! Alongside Todo Sobre Mi Madre, Life Is Beautiful,....this film is one of the greatest stories ever told!
