The FUKIN out folder gets re-created. I tried all means. I am using Win 7 Ultimate version. PLSsssssssssssssss suggest. Im being a software professional, couldn't fix it :'(

@MrLaz007 Thats becouse it makes new files each time u start ur game. make sure if you run in vista or windows 7 to execute as a administrator becouse it wont save ur settings to. for some peoples this method works and some have a other problem

go to C:\Programfiles (x86)\City Interactive\Sniper Ghost Warrior\Game\Out\Settings

Delete the 2 files called audio and video. Start your game!

Well i COMPLETELY deleted the "out" folder and from the recycle bin too. So now that folder is gone and it still doesnt work... Took me a whole day to download. am i fucked now??

mine does samething but it shows a map an its wierd... my screen is black but yet it say press 'F' to pick up rifle an it shows my grenades an the map... how do i get it so my screen isnt black?????

"Save as..." Name it "Video" then save it in this location ..". /documents/ Sniper - Ghost Warrior/ out/ settings" the same location where you got that VIDEO FILE.. Once you Click Save it will say "Video.scr already exists. Do you want to replace it?" CLICK YES Because your replacing the file with the one that you copied from that steam forum i showed you.. Then YOUR FINALLY DONE!!! start up the game and have fun.

@franko2481 the forum website is forums. steam powered .com scroll down the page and find the sniper: ghost warrior in the list click it .... once the page loads up scroll down and click on the thread.. Black Screen by Bytecry..... a person named .. XzandiX posted the text you need to copy... its the third comment on the page..... so you copy the text that XzandiX told you too.. and you can come back here and read the step by step instruction since his was pretty vague..

I FINALLY GOT THIS GAME TO WORK!!!

Im not sure how physical copies of this game work but i bought this game on steam. I went to.... /documents/ Sniper - Ghost Warrior/ out/ settings Then there are two files there.... Video and Audio ....... OPEN up NOTEPAD... START/ All Programs/ Accessories/ Notepad.. Once you have NOTEPAD open DRAG the VIDEO FILE into NOTEPAD... IT TURNS THE VIDEO FILE into TEXT... ERASE ALL THE TEXT.. THEN COPY & PASTE THIS

ok so the game is working ok until about 3mins into the training and then my comp. completly shutsoff. Has anybody else had this problem? Or does anybody know how to fix this.

i had the same problem... got to the game folder find the folder out and the settings and inside it should be a file called video open it with a notepad and go down to resolution and change it to 1024,768 and it should work :D hope this helps if your stuck msg me

Sniper Ghost Warrior doesn’t support multiple monitors. So if you have more then one monitor, the game will often give a blackscreen on launch.

In order to resolve this issue, create a shorcut to the game executable and in the compatibility toggle “Disable Desktop Composition”.

Another workaround is, disable your second monitor, run the game, close the game, enable the second monitor, run the game again and it should run without any problems with both monitors enabled.

OMAGHAD! SOLUTION FOUND!!=======================­==========

Delete the "out" file which is in

C:\Program Files (x86)\City Interactive\Sniper Ghost Warrior\Game\out

(if you can't trust me, cut the 'out' folder and back it up somewhere else)

and run the game with administrator privileage, and it runs fine,

if you go to the previous

C:\Program Files (x86)\City Interactive\Sniper Ghost Warrior\Game\

directory, you will found newly made "out" folder.

Out of range error. Start the game in native desktop resolution. If you bought the game off the steam, set launch options to your native desktop resolution or change the resolution in game config file. i have a different problem, mine shows the little loading image, flashes black then im back at my desktop. any help with that?

ya I just got the game from steam and the game does this. I've checked the whole internet and tried everything that anyone has suggested and i still can't make it run. I'm pretty sure I have a good enough graphics card because I just got a brand new alienware m11x. It has a Nividia GeForce GT 335M in it plus the i5 Processor

when i delete the folder out and run the game the screen is still black so i close it, and the folder is back there again ! i tried it few times and it still comes back. I also tried that windows compatibilty mode and run as administrator and use windows xp service pack 3 and none of these things helped :( btw im using a single screen. does anyone have any other solutions ?

the problem is your graphic card i think because i have shitty integrated intel card and i have to run much games on low resolution and quality :S hope this helps :D

if you have a short cut on your desktop for the sniper_x86.exe then right click on the shortcut go to property's, go to compatibility and there should be a check box for action desktop composition uncheck that and it might stop the black screen if not then got to a single monitor setup update you monitor drivers and it should work if not the i don't know get a new monitor maybe
