That would be because this video is about 2 years old dude. DVD Has become the standard, and CD-R, besides music, is basically obsolete. Check out one of the 2 bajillion videos on how to convert youtube videos (flv/mp4) to a dvd format (mpeg2)

@TheScottpayne To be perfectly honest, I don't even remember what version i used. But as i said to @daprettychic19193, this video is terribly outdated, as is the format. I would recommend one of the many free dvd burners out there. In fact, you probably have free dvd authoring software on your computer already!

When I open the burner wizard the window looks like whatever is in the background and I can't see the text no matter what I do. There are six options, which one do I pick to do what you did in the video? I tried the second option from the right like in your video, but the cd doesn't work in my dvd player. It says there's no disc image or audio.

Not these files, but there are free programs that can convert the youtube flv/mp4 files to iPod. There is also a chance that mp4's from youtube will work directly w/ ipods

Use ZillaTube to download from YouTube...... at fast speed to your computer, and also convert so easily to vcd or dvd.

just google for "zillatube" It works awesome.

If you want to burn to dvd, then just use a regular dvd burning software. You can get it for free. check out sourceforge (google is also gonna be your friend :-) )

Hm... Make sure you have the right cd drive selected. And that there is a blank disc in the drive. If none of that helps at all, message me.

BTW!!!!!! I have be using winavi- turns out its not that great. It caused a bit of laaaaagggg between audio and video for svcd. works good for some conversion still.

If you are using a DVD+R, choose DVD mpeg as opposed to the SVCD mpeg. When you get to the media manager, make sure dvd is checked. If you are using a different burning tool, just convert and burn to the DVD.

2nd- make sure, when you drag/drop the vid, to double check for VCD.

If you burn It on a CD R, Then play It on a DVD player, can you actualy see the video or Just hear It?.

It will play it as if it were a dvd player. Just make sure you are using an SVCD/VCD BURNER. Dont just burn the file to the cd

All you need is a Cd-r or CD-RW drive. You if you want to burn to dvd, you need a DVD-R/DVD-RW drive. VCD/SVCD will play in dvd players. (Excluding in gaming systems)

There is a freeware any video converter free that can rip and convert also but it does not have a burner. It is also good to convert some of your videos to flash before you upload them because they will play in stereo.
