You can not "live" the live of someone who is anorexic. Anorexia is a mental illness and its not just 'not eating' Its the feeling that you feel fat all the time. That no matter what people say, the scale is always right and you will always been too fat.
Anorexia is a disease; a disease that DEVELOPS & has its own specific origin. I think lots of people lose sight of the origin when they get so deeply ingrained that it becomes their life. They know nothing else but their disease/mental illness by that point so of course sufferers will say it it doesn't just develop. It just doesn't develop out of the blue. Diseases have a pattern of development. Might want to reflect more on this before crucifying this filmmaker.
I kind of believe it's a disease also, but that you can develop it too, like perhaps this man is in this video, if you stopped eating fair enough that isnt anorexia always but as you can see he is getting the thought that 'he is fat' which he isnt, hes weighing himself, not happy, purging, not eating. He has the thoughts which I beileve he may be developing this 'disease' to all those who are getting pissed off to this :@
yeah, this doesn't make sense. You can't "turn into an anorexic" That's like me deciding I'm going to take on any other mental illness I don't have. dumb.
This is actually very dangerous to fool around with, It could start out as an experiment and turn into the disease. Anorexia has a way of sucking you into a vortex
interesting. it's like this documentary about getting fat or having such a lifestyle because of eating a lot of fast food, just the other way. I think the name was "Supersize Me".
you play with fire you will get burned if you start crah dieting you will eventually develop anorexia IF there are already some rooted problems that the dieting causes to come to the surface. this guys an idiot. why didn't he just spend some time asking REAL sufferers of Anorexia what it was like instead of trying to become one?
This is so stupid, how about a documentary living the life of a cancer patient for a month, anorexia is a DISEASE, you can starve and diet all you want it does NOT show the 'life' of an anorexic AT ALL. It's showing a symptom, a side-effect, a pathetic little game, stupid stupid stupid.
anorexia isn't something you just choose. it isn't something you can just "be" for a month and a half. it's a DISEASE. while i think that it's good to raise awareness of eating disorders, i'm getting quite sick of hearing about these sorts of documentaries.
i don't know how i feel about the premise of this. Being anorexic is not something anyone chooses. it's a sickness, a state of mind, a disorder, something powerful and beyond your own control. So in choosing to "become" anorexic does this film maker really make light of the seriousness of the disease? but I also applaud the effort to bring more awareness to eating disorders, because that is something that is greatly needed
i really actually would like to see this, been a while since i last saw the trailer, wondered if it's been released at all yet.
I can easily see though, how the film maker is/was playing with fire, starvation in itself can mess up the brain chemistry to create further obsessions with food and weight. That's the part i don't like, if it's done under medical + psychological supervision, fine. But otherwise it makes me nervous about the idea.
Wrong. Look at wannarexics who think of anorexia as a diet, many of them slowly get pulled down into the obsession and end up as anorexic as the next person. Very ignorant comment
@hesterftw He maybe can't understand the mental part so well but he can feel the physical part of anorexia, the weakness, cold, dizziness, hunger and so on
he can live the life of an anorexic by starving/purging whatever but he wont have the thoughts and feelings of an anorexic so really he wont be living the life of an anorexic
That is true. It really hurts the feelings and thoughts. I don't know what's with myself. But I keep eating alot and I feel so fucking sick of myself when I look in the mirror that at times I limit stuff. And one time last year I gave up food since I was sick of myself. And I am still sick of myself I hate my weight..
I can understand and sympathise with you on many levels. When I gain weight it kinda scares me. I've been eating everything in sight lately but have been drinking lots of fluids so I won't feel so bloated in the mornings. It's actually worked. But I hate my weight as well..if only I were 30 lbs lighter. *sigh*
No one should do this. I know it's an experiment, but WHY? There is NO POINT! WHY do you want to harm yourself? It's stupid to do this just to get a documentary out of it!
i don't think so - it looks as though he was vomiting there, so i'm assuming he's also taken on bulimia, so i also have the assumption he is doing this the way a REAL anorexic lives, which is nothing like the size zero, as she was on a diet plan, watched over by doctors, etc.

r u fucking kidden me???? Men are such assholes. you cant "pretend" that you have an ED. this is a disorder, not some bs hollywood diet. How dare you mock what we go through
I've seen women taking on these "experiments" too, just to "give up after 2 days because it was too hard LOL". Seriously. People are assholes, especially when it comes to things they haven't a clue about.
anorexia is a mental problem. the physical is the result. you cant just cut down on your food intake and be like hey this is what an anorexic feels, it doesnt work like that.
I'm really computer illiterate and haven't the slightest idea how to send you an email on youtube, but would really appreciate it if you could keep me updated on the release of this documentary.
Seriously I think "trying" top be anorexic to see what it's like is completely stupid. Just because you starve yourself isn't going to give you a clue about what it's like and what goes on like mental state it's not just oh I'm starving my self it's a problem and it's in our heads and everything not just starving to see waht it's like
he's gonna starve himself so he can feel what it's like to be anorexic. While he's at it why doesn't he drop acid so that maybe he can feel what it's like to have schizophrenia. He can fuck with his brain chemistry so he can have depression or bipolar. Why doesn't he go naked into a prison and get rapped so he can feel what it's like to have PTSD. ANOREXIA IS A MENTAL ILLNESS NOT A CHOICE OR A LIFESTYLE why doesn't he do some legit research instead of turning a mental disorder into a circus
Yes, but at the same time it has been extensively researched that individuals who partake in long term starvation diets begin experiencing psychological symptoms of the disease, such as fear of food, distress about eating with others, fear of weight gain etc. The habits and actions of anorexics/bulimics alters the mental, psychological and emotional reactions in individuals in ways that reinforce the disease, which is why it can develop, worsen etc. in those who are already experiencing symptoms
that's my point people know it's a common reaction so what's the purpose of harming yourself. What point is he going to prove? If you're not anorexic don't starve yourself? Who would do that anyway? I think he's just taking a major issue that could be researched in a different manor but he thinks drama's more appealing. If he's trying to help anorexics he would know that displaying these behaviours isn't going to help it's going to trigger and teach better ways for one to starve themselves
word. definitely a trigger. Maybe he has had symptoms and is putting his desire to "become" anorexic in a guise of documentary, or perhaps a loved one who experienced it and wanted to be able to relate-who knows. I don't think that it's a good idea to be so extensively covering the ins and outs of eating disorders the way many documentaries have (example, super skinny me" availabe on youtube) because it IS such a trigger and because it can teach individuals new "tricks" and the like, you know?
This looks really interesting. Good luck getting this in the festivals. :) I want to see this- it has the unique, eccentric appeal about itself. I would totally watch this if it went out in distribution. Good luck with music rights! :)
this is so dangerous. i believe in research but this.... i just cant imagine what good can come out of someone purposely doing this when they dont have a problem. it is just not worth the toll on your body, enough people are truly suffering, it just weirds me out to think someone would actually do this to "experiment". that is just my opinion as a recovering anorexic, i have no disrespect for anyone involved in this documentary.
I would love to watch this. A while ago, they actually did an experiment on a couple of young, healthy men restricting their calorie intake severely, then seeing what would happen. A lot of them picked up "anorexic behavior" just because they were starved - like cooking for others, hiding food, isolating, being weird about what they did eat. So it's possible for a normal person to act like an anorexic (even for a month), but still you don't actually have the disease.
hmmmm i can kinda see how he could turn into an anorexic, i know its a mental disease and stuff, n at the beginnin of the experiment he had control, n probs by the end of it the ana had control of him ya knw?? no1 knows for sure HOW u get anorexia, for each sufferer its different, n tha is probs how some people get it, from restricting n restricting to see if they loose weight, and then its too l8, at the end of it, the result jus isnt gd enough so they keep going and it has control over them :(
Until you know what it's like to wander through a supermarket, feeling incredibly guilty about the prospect of eating anything. To feel like not only do you not want to eat, but that you don't DESERVE to eat. Until then, you are not "living the life of an anorexic", your just going hungry.
lol. how can you turn anorexic just because you deprive yourself of food as an experiment? It's not like supersize me, where you live the life of a fatass addicted to mcdonalds...anorexia is a mental disorder.
this is a BAD IDEA! I think he believes that by doing this he will understand what it is like to have an eating disorder...oh someone needs to shake him and tell him to stop, this is not a joke, you can put your life at risk for some stupid documentary! I mean hey I am all for that crap when it comes to nature stuff but an eating disorder?! really!? come on now!
oh wow. get your heads out of your asses. hes just trying to understand. you cant judge him off of a one min clip. let him do what hes trying to set out to do and if you dont like it, why watch it?
i agree that if people know they really dont like it they shouldnt watch it. but, i think it's also hard for people who have come close to losing their lives from this and here is a guy who is putting himself through this on purpose. it is just a little hard to fathom.
you can experiment being an anorexic. because if you starve youself long enthohf. then you cant even look at food, whituot getting sick. or even self wormet.
Do you not realize that a LOT of the time getting an eating disorder is because of an experiment like this? It starts like an addiction to some people... then they just can't stop.
You cannot "experiment" being an anorexic. You can't just play the part as if it were a role in a movie. It's a disease! Which is psychological, it starts because of many things pushing a person so far that they end up having the disease before they even realize it! It's completely idiotic to "act" like an anorexic, your just asking to become one...
People need to stop making films that show people how to do this. People don't need anymore tips. Same goes for books - stupid anorexic memoirs. Only a handful have been done well - like Caroline Knapp's book. She only described the sensations and universal themes of the illness. She did NOT, like Marya Hornbacher, showcase all of her sick habits and obsessively detail her weight loss. I've been there. Films like these are triggers.
I would love to see this documentary. I do agree with the comments that you can't truly understand anorexia unless you are born with it, but if that's so then this could be powerful proof against pro-ana/mia groups promoting eds as a 'lifestyle choice.'
I am very interested in the documentary as a (male) friend of mine had an ed once, and I find it hard to believe that only women have those eds, so I think it is a great idea that this experiment is undertaken by a man... although the outcomes may differ if a women had undertaken it I guess!
Please keep me updated, and if possible post the documentary here! Thanks!
This is a touchy subject, but I think it is a good idea. Many people that don't suffer from an ed do not understand what it is like. Most of us that do, do not try to get help until the ed has taken over. I think those that are trying to understand an ed could benefit from this doc. So they can understand a little of what we do and how we think.
I would love to see the doc. Where can I find it?
Oh WOW. This looks truly amazing, and I would love to be sent updates or something.. :P If this ever does make it on DVD or anything I'm totally watching.
well, if he was 'thinking' like some of the anas, he would find this as an opportunity to become ana without as much trouble from others, because it was his 'job'. i'm not saying that's how he thinks, and i haven't seen the documentary. all i'm saying is that often there's an underlying cause for someone to act in this manner.
Actually studies have shown that if a person remains in a state of "semi-starvation" for a prolonged period of time they develop "anorexic tendencies" The difference being when the study was over and the people involved where "re-fed" they did not need the same intense therapy that anorexic people do to recover. (the study was done on a canadian population and to the best of my knowledge has not been reproduced in other cultures.)

What the fuck. WHY WOULD YOU BE AN ANOREXIC ON PURPOSE? This is bullshit. Wtf.. seriously, it's an ILLNESS, not something you should 'try out' for a month and a half. Crazy.
watching this disturbs me, but it also sorta makes me think. What causes ana for most of you? I've been down to an ana weight one time, but i'm bulimic and have been for a few years. My story is unique though, and i just want to find out what caused yours. (write on my bulletin; i'll try to check it more often)
i struggle with anorexia too and yeah i agree with what you are saying, but im thinking maybe this guy did it for this company who paid him cuz thats the shitty things ppl do for money. who knows he couldve developped an eating disorder at the end of it. i mean after going through all that ure heads gonna be kinda messed up i reckon... just my point of view....
I have re-read my last post and realize I'm being a hypocrite because I said "if you want to lose weight that badly do it in a healthy way" when I can't do it myself I have been struggling with anorexia for 2years. but the only reason I said "if you want to lose weight that badly do it in a healthy way" was because I don't want someone to go through this.
Someone that doesn't have anorexia doesn't know what it's like for us. they don't know what we go through. I cannot understand why someone would WANT ana. It is not a choice. So please stop playing "games" && doing "experiments" with ana.
At the end when he says...'what if I'm actually turning into an anorexic'...that's his own damn fault for playing with fire. I've cooled down now haha. But uhm...he is actually gorgeous...his bones.
What the fuck??? You CAN'T BE ANOREXIC!!! IT IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE!!! I am SOOO mad!!! You have no idea how angry I am. Oh yeah, just fuck around with my hell, because you want to see what it's like. Like aleiamaria said...would you do that with cancer??? Fuck around with this and it MIGHT turn into something serious...but other then that...thanks for TRYING to be fucked up in the head...GOD DAMN I"M SO MAD!!!
I'm sorry man... this sucks for you. I'm someone that suffers from this... and i'm so sorry you've decided to do this, because it's true... you really won't be happy with the results at the end.. and yes, its possible to choose to be anorexic.. just to let you know, and what you have decided is probably the stupidest idea your life will ever experience.
Oh yeah...how the fuck can you live the life of an anorexic if you aren't one??? IT IS NOT ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT OR RESTRICTING GOD DAMNIT!!! All it has to do with...is how you FEEL, and people who aren't affected by an eating disorder DON"T FEEL what we do...urg. Sorry. I'm just so mad. I agree with you
i guess the point of this is to see if anorexia is a disease that just happens or a choice. like he made the choice to not eat and obsess, and then apparently hes starting to really obsess and feel the way an anoretic would feel. so i guess the point is to prove weather its a disease or a choice. and if it is a choice is it effective.
IS THIS FOR REAL? why would anyone be stupid enough to go down that road ON PURPOSE? "lets just act like i have an eating disorder for a month and see what the results are!" STUPID STUPID STUPID
this is such a brave and interesting thing for you to do. i have theories on this disease. i think it would be interesting to talk to you about it. reply back?
I think its interesting also. It touches base with a different way people get treapped into an eating disorder. Intentionally. People with anorexia become anorexic different ways.
wow, looks very interesting, although this trailer doesn't give a lot of anything. I think a little more beefed up one, would def help me understand a little more, and get me more stoked (even though I am interested in this already) good luck, can't wait to see more.
if you are or have read this comment then you are cursed for life. You will have a terrible life and never get married (if you are already married you will get divorced). Only way to undo this curse is if you comment 5 videos with this exact message
After a while, he would indeed start hating his body. Starving, no matter why you're doing it, starts to mess with the chemicals in your brain. So at the beginning, it may have just been a documentary, but eventually, the thoughts WILL kick in. Their strength is variable, but they'll be there because he's not eating. That's probably where it led to purging.
If this guy is 'living the life' and making himself aware of every calorie he eats, burns, what his body looks like, weighing every few times and saying "NOT GOOD ENOUGH" and starts to 'hear' and ed voice, it could be very well more than a 'mimic' of starving. From the trailor it looks like he's withdrawing from friends in groups who are sociolizing with food, and purging in another. You have to be a damn dedicated film student to make yourself purge at the repulsivness of your own body.
I don't know, I think this guy might be on to something. The fact that he had the interest in this to do the documentary and BE ABLE to starve his body is sort of a disordered mindset.

He can fuck with his brain chemistry so he can have depression or bipolar. Why doesn't he go naked into a prison and get rapped so he can feel what it's like to have PTSD. ANOREXIA IS A MENTAL ILLNESS NOT A CHOICE OR A LIFESTYLE why doesn't he do some legit research instead of turning a mental disorder into a circus
bubbly110489 3 years ago
Yes, but at the same time it has been extensively researched that individuals who partake in long term starvation diets begin experiencing psychological symptoms of the disease, such as fear of food, distress about eating with others, fear of weight gain etc. The habits and actions of anorexics/bulimics alters the mental, psychological and emotional reactions in individuals in ways that reinforce the disease, which is why it can develop, worsen etc. in those who are already experiencing symptoms
seefacerun 3 years ago 3
that's my point people know it's a common reaction so what's the purpose of harming yourself. What point is he going to prove? If you're not anorexic don't starve yourself? Who would do that anyway? I think he's just taking a major issue that could be researched in a different manor but he thinks drama's more appealing. If he's trying to help anorexics he would know that displaying these behaviours isn't going to help it's going to trigger and teach better ways for one to starve themselves
bubbly110489 3 years ago
word. definitely a trigger. Maybe he has had symptoms and is putting his desire to "become" anorexic in a guise of documentary, or perhaps a loved one who experienced it and wanted to be able to relate-who knows. I don't think that it's a good idea to be so extensively covering the ins and outs of eating disorders the way many documentaries have (example, super skinny me" availabe on youtube) because it IS such a trigger and because it can teach individuals new "tricks" and the like, you know?

this is so dangerous. i believe in research but this.... i just cant imagine what good can come out of someone purposely doing this when they dont have a problem. it is just not worth the toll on your body, enough people are truly suffering, it just weirds me out to think someone would actually do this to "experiment". that is just my opinion as a recovering anorexic, i have no disrespect for anyone involved in this documentary.

when do you plan on having this outt?

this is gonna be a really good documentary . very creepy though .
sashabobashawasha 3 years ago
I would love to watch this. A while ago, they actually did an experiment on a couple of young, healthy men restricting their calorie intake severely, then seeing what would happen. A lot of them picked up "anorexic behavior" just because they were starved - like cooking for others, hiding food, isolating, being weird about what they did eat. So it's possible for a normal person to act like an anorexic (even for a month), but still you don't actually have the disease.
imjoy393 4 years ago
Did they make a documentary of it? I'd love to watch it if they did. Think you could send me a link?
xtouchthesky 4 years ago
[That question was aimed at imjoy393]
xtouchthesky 4 years ago
I don't actually have the link, but this is a trailer to a documentary...maybe someone else will post it who has the video!
imjoy393 4 years ago
hmmmm i can kinda see how he could turn into an anorexic, i know its a mental disease and stuff, n at the beginnin of the experiment he had control, n probs by the end of it the ana had control of him ya knw?? no1 knows for sure HOW u get anorexia, for each sufferer its different, n tha is probs how some people get it, from restricting n restricting to see if they loose weight, and then its too l8, at the end of it, the result jus isnt gd enough so they keep going and it has control over them :(

Until you know what it's like to wander through a supermarket, feeling incredibly guilty about the prospect of eating anything. To feel like not only do you not want to eat, but that you don't DESERVE to eat. Until then, you are not "living the life of an anorexic", your just going hungry.
streakofutube 4 years ago
True, there is more behind it than just going hungry - but not every anorexic feels she doesn't deserve to eat. I didn't feel that way.
xLluviax 4 years ago
I actually think this is horrible.
Anorexia isn't something you can just choose to take up for a month and a half and throw away.
It isn't a choice at all.
therissa 4 years ago 2
this is why I think that documentary is totally pointless
unless they show what it's really like to go down with anorexia, why making that crap? q__q

MHIoscar 4 years ago
lol. how can you turn anorexic just because you deprive yourself of food as an experiment? It's not like supersize me, where you live the life of a fatass addicted to mcdonalds...anorexia is a mental disorder.
nevline08 4 years ago
this is a BAD IDEA! I think he believes that by doing this he will understand what it is like to have an eating disorder...oh someone needs to shake him and tell him to stop, this is not a joke, you can put your life at risk for some stupid documentary! I mean hey I am all for that crap when it comes to nature stuff but an eating disorder?! really!? come on now!

simplyheather 4 years ago 3
i agree that if people know they really dont like it they shouldnt watch it. but, i think it's also hard for people who have come close to losing their lives from this and here is a guy who is putting himself through this on purpose. it is just a little hard to fathom.
kate72652 3 years ago
you can experiment being an anorexic. because if you starve youself long enthohf. then you cant even look at food, whituot getting sick. or even self wormet.
And i whould love to see the doumentary
afterschooldenmark 4 years ago
dumbass.
o0azalie0o 4 years ago
Do you not realize that a LOT of the time getting an eating disorder is because of an experiment like this? It starts like an addiction to some people... then they just can't stop.
Don't be fucking stupid
pa1ntedskye 4 years ago
You cannot "experiment" being an anorexic. You can't just play the part as if it were a role in a movie. It's a disease! Which is psychological, it starts because of many things pushing a person so far that they end up having the disease before they even realize it! It's completely idiotic to "act" like an anorexic, your just asking to become one...
pa1ntedskye 4 years ago 2

this is a horrible, horrible idea...as someone who has suffered with ed's for 13 years...this is truely upsetting...
jewels4thorns 4 years ago 6
STUPID.
Shoonam 4 years ago
I would love to see this documentary. I do agree with the comments that you can't truly understand anorexia unless you are born with it, but if that's so then this could be powerful proof against pro-ana/mia groups promoting eds as a 'lifestyle choice.'
dchsdl 4 years ago
WHY would he do this to himself?!
demonessjo 4 years ago
to better understand the illness, but really if your not born with it all you'll understand is the health risk and hunger...

Thanks!
Skjoldsmoey 4 years ago 3
AWsome! I am really interested! I hope it lands on dvd!! GL.
serena107 4 years ago 2
This is a touchy subject, but I think it is a good idea. Many people that don't suffer from an ed do not understand what it is like. Most of us that do, do not try to get help until the ed has taken over. I think those that are trying to understand an ed could benefit from this doc. So they can understand a little of what we do and how we think.
I would love to see the doc. Where can I find it?

well, if he was 'thinking' like some of the anas, he would find this as an opportunity to become ana without as much trouble from others, because it was his 'job'. i'm not saying that's how he thinks, and i haven't seen the documentary. all i'm saying is that often there's an underlying cause for someone to act in this manner.
weinigengel 4 years ago
wtf. I can see how you can want to be anorexic, but you don't make yourself Think like that. It just happens
WretchedLives 4 years ago
Actually studies have shown that if a person remains in a state of "semi-starvation" for a prolonged period of time they develop "anorexic tendencies" The difference being when the study was over and the people involved where "re-fed" they did not need the same intense therapy that anorexic people do to recover. (the study was done on a canadian population and to the best of my knowledge has not been reproduced in other cultures.)
LifeEclipsed 4 years ago 2
why would you want to "try out" being anorexic
i know its a documentary and everything, but you have got it all wrong
you cant try out having cancer, so its the same with anorexia.

What the fuck. WHY WOULD YOU BE AN ANOREXIC ON PURPOSE? This is bullshit. Wtf.. seriously, it's an ILLNESS, not something you should 'try out' for a month and a half. Crazy.
bwinaaa 4 years ago
watching this disturbs me, but it also sorta makes me think. What causes ana for most of you? I've been down to an ana weight one time, but i'm bulimic and have been for a few years. My story is unique though, and i just want to find out what caused yours. (write on my bulletin; i'll try to check it more often)
weinigengel 4 years ago
i struggle with anorexia too and yeah i agree with what you are saying, but im thinking maybe this guy did it for this company who paid him cuz thats the shitty things ppl do for money. who knows he couldve developped an eating disorder at the end of it. i mean after going through all that ure heads gonna be kinda messed up i reckon... just my point of view....
ambida 4 years ago
this makes me really really angry! i have been strugling with ana for years and i dont know why someone would go through that on purpose. fuck that
disneybabe313 4 years ago
I have re-read my last post and realize I'm being a hypocrite because I said "if you want to lose weight that badly do it in a healthy way" when I can't do it myself I have been struggling with anorexia for 2years. but the only reason I said "if you want to lose weight that badly do it in a healthy way" was because I don't want someone to go through this.
aleiamarie 4 years ago
Someone that doesn't have anorexia doesn't know what it's like for us. they don't know what we go through. I cannot understand why someone would WANT ana. It is not a choice. So please stop playing "games" && doing "experiments" with ana.
aleiamarie 4 years ago

Tricklen 4 years ago
I'm sorry man... this sucks for you. I'm someone that suffers from this... and i'm so sorry you've decided to do this, because it's true... you really won't be happy with the results at the end.. and yes, its possible to choose to be anorexic.. just to let you know, and what you have decided is probably the stupidest idea your life will ever experience.
middlenamedrae 4 years ago
is this a joke?
you have got to be kidding.
wft! you can't just decide to be anorexic.
are you a mentally ill peoson?
deciding to "become" anorexic is like deciding to inject cancer cell into your body "just to see what happens"
anorexia is NOT something to joke about.
if you want to lose weight that badly do it in a healthy why.
aleiamarie 4 years ago
Oh yeah...how the fuck can you live the life of an anorexic if you aren't one??? IT IS NOT ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT OR RESTRICTING GOD DAMNIT!!! All it has to do with...is how you FEEL, and people who aren't affected by an eating disorder DON"T FEEL what we do...urg. Sorry. I'm just so mad. I agree with you
Tricklen 4 years ago

Anorexia is fatal. Triggering such a disease is murder. Great job.

When does this come out? I want to see it
lindzani9 4 years ago
i guess the point of this is to see if anorexia is a disease that just happens or a choice. like he made the choice to not eat and obsess, and then apparently hes starting to really obsess and feel the way an anoretic would feel. so i guess the point is to prove weather its a disease or a choice. and if it is a choice is it effective.

Enayemee 5 years ago
I don't know, I think this guy might be on to something. The fact that he had the interest in this to do the documentary and BE ABLE to starve his body is sort of a disordered mindset.
