I dont know what you mean by card (-.-????) But press your fingers down more firmly and make sure only one finger is touching one string. If all else fails you shouldnt be out in public unsupervised ;)

omg...im a beginner and when i simply put my finger on top of the card (barely pressing) the string makes no noise when i strum it!! is it supposed to be like that? those strings aren't amking any noise-__- ahhh idk what this means ?? D:

thanks im all caught up so far, good start, but some of my strings have the wrong tune but i just dont really want to snap them and im not actually playing with a guitar pick. its like a cap to go over a screw haha, will that affect the sound in any way?

Awesome video but he forgot to mention that you only strum strings 1-5 in A major. you dont play the sixth string (6e). if you listen carefully you can only hear him strum 5 strings. 5th down to 1st.

I think its great that there are lessons out there like this :) but, that is without a doubt the most unorthodox shape for a major Ive ever seen :P

If youre having trouble with this guys try fingers 1-2-3 on strings 4-3-2 respectively :)

Try swapping your first and second fingers around, it's easy to hold an A chord in that fingering position.

The "A," I hear, is acually supposed to be played with one finger.

and maybe its that your fingers mute the others string or something..

but here's a tip: place your fingers as close as you can to the fret...then you have more chance that your chord sounds..
