Was your foot hard down(floaring it)?, because the fuel gadge was not all the way to the 20l/100km... if you floar it in a 330d it goes all the way to the 20 ,your car is only at 13-14l/100km ?

The E46 looks much more robust than the E36 IMHO. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain up to 13HP on the stock output for the 330i and a bit less for the 325 and 328. I had A3 [TDi130hp] and right now I have e46 [2.0d 150hp]

I did drive my Audi almost 210km/h and I did almost 230km/h in my BMW... what I can say is that driving 210km/h in e46 is much more comfortable and a lot more stable than driving 190km/h in A3

@stanek007 if it was not stable is certainly had a problem either on the suspension the steering box or in the tires. i had 2 Renaults 1 Rover and now own a 320d it is a RWD car it is a car meant for you to drive it, not to be driven by it like a FWD, you need much more grip and control on the steering wheel you cannot distract yourself while driving it, it will kill you! FWD has no fun or emotion it is just too easy to drive.

merge si 240....am fost cu al meu pe autostrada Turda-Gilau (in apropiere de CJ) 220 am prins pe loc drept...si am dat de o portiune cu o vale micuta...acolo am bagat 240 aproape dar la turometru aveam 5,5 aproape...cand mi-o taiat alimentarea si nu am mai putut accelera...(136 CP din fabrica) remapat 168 CP pana si in data de azi.... (cred ca ma ajutat si ala un pic)

Moja e46 w automacie 150 KM 225 km/h bez problemu dłuższa prosta i myślę że ponad 230 pociśnie:) nie mailem niestety okazji by to sprawdzić:) może sie mylę ale jak coś zrobię filmik;p pozdro

Nope, from late 2001 onwards the cars had 150bhp and 6 speed, the ealier model like mine has 136bhp and 5 speeds ( well standard anyways muhahaha )
