Well tried to do this for my phone.. got all the way to "Right click and run as Admin"... well I get a big unable to log on. Also I think this video might be old cos the version you ask us to install.. is no long on the list. it is now 2.1 something.

If your phone is freezing at Waiting for device, you have to install the ADB drivers from your phone.

@Hexhiss I copied the ADB drivers from the phone (it shows up as a CD when you plug the phone in, with some files and manuals in My Computer) to my Desktop and installed them manually from Devices and Printers.

@SSEi02 Will this NAND unlock the phone as well, so that I an remove the carrier installed Bloatware? Because I found another root method that involved installing a .zip file onto the root of the sd card and updating the ROM from that. it just uses the same ROM that you have and installs a couple files to root. Guess its only partial root if the NAND is still locked tho.

@aniie3precious sorry for the late response, but you have to keep on trying, disable usb debuging while you're trying to root it and then enable it again, if that doesnt work, get back to me, ill maybe make a video on how to root it if it is not working

Dude, ur making it way harder than rooting a phone has to be...go to 4shared.com and search for z4root... install it and in about 2min ur phone will be rooted...as easy as that..

after trying this a billion times and z4root i found gingerbreak.apk which u can download from z4shared.com download the 1.2 version... save it to desktop connect phone put app on the sd card. umount the sd card click on file manger click on gingerbreak download it then make sure usb debugging is checked then go into apps click on gingerbreak click ok then click root it will reboot when completed when it turns back on look in apps if u see superuser it worked. z4root worked on 2.1 huawei not 2.2

@350hustla In case you did like me, after you download superOneClick in winRar, you have to extract everything thats in there, so select everything from bottom up and then extract them to the new folder, and then right click on superOneclick to run as administrator, and then when supeOneClick opens up, click yes to everything. that's what i did, when its said not responding, hope it helps anyone.
