All right. I just finished watching the series as it was recommended to me by friends and family before I would go out and see the movie. Need less to say the cartoon series VASTLY surpassed my expectations and was a real treat. This god-aweful movie butchered the story and its characters. A remake is definitely a good way to redeem the series in a live action movie. A trilogy would be nice and made preferably by director with talent.

I went to this movie expecting it to be bad and was pleasantly surprised.
Some people wanted it to be as good as the show, and that is asking way too much - the show is incredible. This movie had some acting setbacks but overall accomplished its goal: entertain and tell a great story.

To be honest besides costume I honestly don't think anyone looks like their character very disappointing for me :( I wish the main cast was more.. multicultural .. All right. I just finished watching the series as it was recommended to me by friends and family before I would go out and see the movie. Need less to say the cartoon series VASTLY surpassed my expectations and was a real treat. This god-aweful movie butchered the story and its characters. A remake is definitely a good way to redeem the series in a live action movie. A trilogy would be nice and made preferably by director with talent.

I went to this movie expecting it to be bad and was pleasantly surprised.
Some people wanted it to be as good as the show, and that is asking way too much - the show is incredible. This movie had some acting setbacks but overall accomplished its goal: entertain and tell a great story.

To be honest besides costume I honestly don't think anyone looks like their character very disappointing for me :( I wish the main cast was more.. multicultural .. I had always imagined Katara and sokka more Indonesian and not too happy about anyone's hairstyle either actually, meh film better be good.
