I am a friend of George and he is, in fact, weird; however, in the words of Chris Chambers, "Everybody is weird."

Right you are, my friend. George is an absolutely amazing pianist and having a lesson from him would be a true lifetime experience.

when i heard this live in one of his concerts for the first time... my jaw dropped. and I was smiling cuz i could picture the cat chasing the mouse. I hope GW's legacy shows him to be one of the greats.

Nope, couldn't play it better, it's very good, but not the best -- IMHO his left hand is a tad behind -- that's what stride is all about, two hands as a band - and he's clearly fatigued, through some bits, something the greatest stride pianist never let show -- but it's still quite good.
