is this game like wow? (gameplay) so yuo lvl in a open world join bgs with people in the same lvl. OR is it you lvl inside bg/arenas and the lvling only unlock new items :P

@produde21 its PvE and PvP its like future WoW the pvp isnt exact to ur lvl but close and u can lvl up in pvp theres also missions which are the equivlment to a dungeon

@produde21 you can do quests up until about lvl 18, then its all instanced stuff from there, pvp is the main focus of this game i think, because theres only about 6 or so pve missions per category (6 medium, 6 hard, 6 max, 6 umax) and only a handful of raids plus it gets boring quickly and doesent really require that much strategy, its mostly place this here and pew pew that, whereas pvp is dynamic and such, and the pvp brackets are 10-29 30-50, 50 being the level cap :D

@produde21 i'd say see the lvling up and grading like Battlefield, the new equipment you get are slightly better but isnt gamebreaking. i dont see this game as an MMORPG i look at it more as any FPS game like TF2 or whatever where you get on, you join a server with the gamemode you want and you play, only diffrence is that there are raids and instanced PVE ontop of the very diverse pvp. the only downside that i see with GA is the amount of weapons and equipments because there arent a whole lot.

@Vippe101 I see what you are getting at but....You don't join a server you login to one mega server with free roam (kind of a mega server) You pick which gamemode you want to play inside of the game through queue's...and there is a story...It is not however anything like battlefield

sure there are pve conent in GA but the thing is... i've never claimed it to be like BF. i said the lvls works the same way as in BF.

I like your PvP method. It seems more stress free than setting up a nest and trying to keep it up for kills. Just one question though, how do you know so much about placement? Was it just from memorizing strategies or do you memorize specific places on each map of where you should place turrets and beacons? If it is from strategy, are there any good guides that would help me in that area? As of now, I'm horrible with turret placement. :I

@Necronisxi I've played this game since Alpha at Quakecon 09. However turret placement is just a matter of one question "What would cause the biggest boom while not taking the fire to match?" Try placing turrets in different frontal locations or a flanking position would be my suggestion. Like at 5:25 where not a lot of people expect a turret there yet it's in a perfect position to blow people away.

Yesterday i done something hilarious to a robotic in a payload match,i was flanking the enemy as a recon and saw a robotic right around the corner with all his turrets up med station force field you name it,i drop 1 flame bomb in there and everything except forthe med station rots away sinse a robotic can only focus repairing 1 machine at a time so he focusses on his med station and he dies :)

Recons and robotics are not supposed to charge in and die

noob robotics put down their turrets in a corner with a heal station and guard it 24/7

they never shoot their gun and just make sure their aimbot turret keeps killing

You said you didn't understand why your robo partner set up a turret behind your rocket turret? Idk if you've figured it out yet or not but being a recon myself, easiest way to deal with rocket turrets is a quick swoop from behind and 4-5 hits with DD and the turrets done. His turret behind counters that completely and makes removing both incredibly more difficult.

However, for the "premium features" and any new content that Hi-Rez Studios adds to the game, you will have to subscribe a monthly fee. It is possible to reach max level and get all of the best gear without paying the subscription though.
