hi; I'm a french "Blake lover" singer & musician. I want to identify everything that is done with the work of this "wonderful man" in the words of his wife Catherine. visit my site: lezarts.info and say what you think of my modest contribution to make known the work and ideals of Blake.
Nice juxtaposition, but I don't think the wrath of Blake's writing and his utter Englishness go together with the very baroque nature of Vivaldi's music. Obviously since the two arts are so distinct you might feel differently than I do, but I've always felt the sonic equivalent of Blake's poetry would be something by Mahler. Only he had the strength of character, talent and inner rage to compose his apocalyptic visions without the kitsch, the severity or the asceticism of other composers.
a brilliant artist. ahead of his time. just look at the beauty and message of his works. i never tire looking at his art or reading his poems. on the verge of divine.
One of my great interests is William Blake, I have lectured on this man at College. Love him. Wonderful to see him on You Tube. Shame he does not get the hits that Chris Crocker gets...
The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others just a green thing that stands in their way .~~ I have always related to his writing ,Thanks for the education .~ William Blake ~ You are a ( Dead man )! Do you have any tobacco ? ~ Congrats on the Degree , You are on your road to find out !? Enjoy the journey !
Oh yes I have tobacco! Among other things. Thanks for the congrats. Now if I could just find a job, ugh. It isn't the green things that stand in my way. S'good to hear from you again. My life is in limboooooooooo. Peace babe.
