thank you so much for this very easy to understand tutorial. My husband is not very tech smart and bought me this 16gb hp touch pad that his supposed friend sold him for $250. I was very upset when I did some research and found out these things were sold brand new a few months ago for only $100 and the one I got was falling apart. Not a very good friend! Hopefully my husband can get his money back. Thanks again!

How do you add files from your computer? I added some via USB and now I cannot locate them on my Touchpad.

@myMEdiaCharge Files can be added through USB. what kind of files r not showing? movies, mp3s, documents?movies you will not able to see unless they are resized and formatted to HP touchpad supported video format MPEG-4, MP4, H.263, H.264 and picture formats like jpg, bmp, jpeg etc...open those(pics/vids) in albums.Audio formats:DRM-free MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCELP, WAV open in music player. MS office supported files and PDFs can be opened in quick office and PDF reader respectively.

@KarlyH 1st option connect it to computer using usb and then you can delete your album just like in your flash drive.option#2 U've to empty your album.go in the album, if you want to move your media on bottom right corner there is pen icon tap on it. to select all there is button at top right,to select yr choice tap on yr pics.once tapped,at bottom two squares+ sign will help you move yr files or use next trashcan icon to delete.Once all files deleted/moved go to your album,u'll see delete album

@KarlyH This will just work with albums in "My touchpad". With facebook and other online albums it will not work. you have to manage it from facebook or other accounts.
