THAT WAS THE POINT! She said so herself, the second half of Deathly Hallows is a WAR movie. NOt everyone lives! Makes it more of an impact to the audience when their favorite characters die! I think she was a genius for killing off more than one! It made me cry and it was brilliant!

@MegaMissymee i mean it was hard for liver to see his brother dead. it made him think of what it would be like if his brother died and it got him really upset between takes. they were planning on doing 12 takes so it would be longer but because he getting quite distressed they decided to have just a few making the scene shorter.

@martyw1712 If the twin we see sitting helpless on the floor is Fred, then they made him die a bit like Sirius who was hit by the killing curse but kept moving for 2-3 seconds before passing away. They bent the rules since that curse kills instantly. That should be him because the spell is green, even though the effect looks more like a disarming spell. If not, it's quite a BIG mistake. Either way, the book is quite another thing. And way better. Fred didn't die cowering.
