Very clever - the transition must be when he walks past the truck, after which he's on the cliff.

Actually there are 2 transitions. At the beginning he's on the 20th floor, then as he passes the white wall he is on the ground floor going out the front door. Then as he passes the truck he is on the White Cliffs of Dover.
