@MusicClassical1 you probably already have it up to speed but for any piece requiring speed you need proper fingering, play a ton of scales, and practice your ass off going slowly and perfectly. Speed and flow come with practice but its always better to take a slower tempo with a smooth pace rather than something fast and choppy!
you do realize you are playing the imitation of the primary motive in the left hand incorrectly every time? slow down and read the sheet music properly.
Wo did you have diarrhea when you were playing this piece? or are you from NY..
It's played a bit fast.. lol
But you played it very well.
I am actually trying to learn how to play this piece.. The camera angle would have been perfect to see what keys to play but you went through it so fast there was virtually no way to follow it..
Well, After watching all the Invention 13 songs, EVERYONE tries to play is fast, and each of them sound the same - Kinda rushed. It's a very complex yet gentle sound, by increasing the tempo, it takes away from it I believe.
While I agree with your comment Gateau about everyone trying to rush this piece, I think that this performance was pretty good. It is notated as Allegro giusto. The important thing to note when trying to play this piece fast is the clarity of the notes come out, which I believe it does.
You are right. The wrong melody is played; the notes in both arpeggios are reversed from 4146 5157 to 4641 5751. It's not just at the beginning, but in the other places where the theme appears, like the C major appearance in the 8th bar, and its reintroduction int the 18th bar in the original key. Ouch, main theme screwed up. How embarassing!
Nice tempo, favoured by several famous players. Glenn Gould amputated 8 seconds. Here the left hand seems okay to me; it is still attached. Perhaps a variant of the published sheet music explains it.
CRAP MAN!!!!; i think you're going "a bit" faster than normal

Some of the notes maybe incorrect, but his execution of them are "off the charts". Beautiful job!

olabaran is clearly aware of his incorrect notes and has a sense of humor about it. It's a virtuoso performance nonetheless.

Great! One observation, it seems as though your left hand is more technically developed than your right, but I may be mistaken.

wait...is it me, or some notes in the left-hand part got switched around in the first bar (and in another bar..)?
If I'm mistaken, I apologize.
Great one!

there's some wrong notes on your sheet for left hand.. when you repeat at the start, and when you repeat the C major theme ( left hand )

Don't listen to him, it sounds fine at that speed. Inventions were meant to be concise tunes, not complete songs.
