@prnzhamzah It's a reflection of the fireball from the internal optics of the camera. It's much dimmer than the primary fireball (which is the saturated white flash that's visible at the same time) because most of the light is passing through the lenses, not reflecting off them.
wel f*** me with a chainsaw that was one heck of a BWMMMMMMMM. if you watch closely you can see the exact moment the shockway hits the plant in the foreground.
The logic is wrong. They say that 1) it is possible in high energies to do x, 2) those levels are not present in car accidents, 3)therefore you cannot fuse metals in a car accident. Do you see how this does not hold? It would hold if they had discovered that not even high pressures can merge two metals; then it would follow from a logical point of view.
Ok, now think of this. This blast, 1/4 ton of explosives. JDAM missles, 2 tons of explosives. Tsar Bomba (largest nuclear blast ever) 500,000,000 TONS of explosive. Imagine this, times 2 BILLION
@magnusrulz Thats the glare from the actual flash, with high explosives even the high speed camera could only capture part of one frame as the flash lasts barely a fraction of a second.
THIS is a true piece of art.

@AlgeKalipso the logic is fine lol, they point out that it is possible, but that you cant do it in the way the myth states you can
you can fuse metal and pancake a compact car but not the way the myth states you can
for the metal you need 500 pounds of high explosives and for the car you need to go close to the speed of sound with your car

if you pause at the exact right time at 1:15 you can actually see a red light above the explosion
