All I'm saying is that nobody's perfect and human beings have always done crazy things to get their revenge. ACR is POSITIVELY the most beneficial weapon in the video game. Each time I run a Mercenary TD on it, I get the EMP, and slaughter everyone. I'm even playing on the working steam release which i downloaded from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ) . The Russians were brutes and always will be. I hate this false portrayal of Soviet heroism, the Bolsheviks are anything but heroes. Let's not pretend that Russia were not expansionist as well, they willingly invaded Poland along with the Nazi Germany in 1939. Stalin was a tyrant who liquidated his own people. Many Russians and Lithuanians fought for the Nazis to unleash their fury on what bolshevism had done to their country. People who think the Russians are great are leftist fuckwits.

Dont generalise all Russians the same goes for Germans. Not all believed in their masters cause. Russians even greater since Stalin purged 30mil Soviets. That's a fair point, but it doesn't change the fact that the Soviet Army itself was the scum of the earth. The Germans killed and tortured as a result of their ideals, the Soviets were nothing but barbaric rapists whose actions were the result of their primitive nature. I'm not supporting genocide regardless of why it is carried out, but this view as the Soviets as heroes is anything but accurate.

Actually had nothing to do with their ideals, for some Red Army Soldiers that tortured or executed it was pure vengance. The German Armies invasion and occupation of the USSR was brutal. Thousands of Russian civilians were massacred, executed and used as slave labour. Some Red Army soldiers thought they would return the favour, bare in mind almost all Soviets had lost a relative to the war.

A lot of it boiled down to propoganda and the way they treated each other in this case the way the Germans treated captured Soviets to begin with. Both sides painted a souless evil picture, which quickly became a reality from the treatment of prisoners and the bombardment of cities.

Very inaccurate. The invasion of the Soviet Union was a war of annihilation purely due to the fact it was an ideological war. It has EVERYTHING to do with their ideals, because the Soviet Union had a substantial population of Jews and Bolshevik leaders. Thousands of Russian civilians were murdered, granted, but this was a result of Nazi ideology and the ideals of the SS, who saw those from the East as racially inferior. The Soviets raped thousands of German women, out of nothing but barbarism.

And the next part of your comment is pretty much what I wrote. The Germans because of propoganda and Nazism saw the Soviets as scum and treated them like scum. This then gave some of the Soviets an image of Germans as nothing more then murderous animals and then treated them like animals.

How exactly is this about revenge? I find it extremely hard to believe that rape on such a mass scale was an act of revenge, but more to the point of fulfilling their own primitive desires. The deportation of many German soldiers to gulags, and the execution of captured SS soldiers may be considered revenge, but rape certainly was not one of them.

Nazi propaganda was an accurate portrayal anyway, the Soviets ARE uncultured, drunken animals.

The point I was ultimately trying to make is that people who admire the Soviet Union are morons. Germany and Russia in this time period were equally evil. Tactically, the Nazi invasion of France was way ahead of it's time and a huge military triumph, but nobody ever dares give credit to the Nazis. Also the Red Army is hugely overrated, the Nazis lost because of ridiculously overstretched supply lines and terrible weather conditions. Militarily they were far superior to the Red Army.

@HaloForever08 germans had the best tanks, strategy, & aircraft. but those mp40's jammed easily and the soviet pphs did not. german tanks were produced about 300 a month. soviet tanks were simple and easy but they worked and released about 900 a month. the soviets outnumbered germany 10 to 1. literally. there were about 15 mil. germans in the wehrmacht. 60% of them were focused in the eastern front. red army had more than 60 mil. they also sacrificed more. in my opinion they deserve the fame.

You need to read the book Night because it clearly shows (in first person) what a Jew went through in a concentration camp. The Soviet Gulags were nowhere as horrible as German concentration camps. And plus, Russia never forced kids to fight a pointless war.

Russia's Gulags were not as bad as German concentration camps, because the Russians were far less professional in their killings. In fact, most deaths were a result of forced starvation. Before World War II, the Soviet Government killed roughly 3 million Ukrainians in response to rebellions, using purely starvation. Oh, and by the way, the Russians conscripted young boys to fight. Oh, and have you heard of Soviet death squads?

The Soviets forced political prisoners, to run on ahead of the main assault force, with only grenades, so as to waste German Ammunition, and deploy German land mines to allow the Russian tanks to advance more easily. These men virtually never survived, and it was essentially a death sentence. Oh, and I'm sure you've heard of the Soviet Commissars, who were deployed behind Soviet lines, and would shoot any deserting or retreating Russian troops. They were monsters far beyond any Nazis.
