@sts121 A friend of mine bought one in similarly pristine condition. He was very unhappy with it, so we spent some time increasing the gain to overdrive the leslie.
Autumn Leaves and All The Things You Are both are circular progressive, meaning they follow counterclockwise the circle of 5ths. Nearly all standard songs follow these changes along with Gershwins famous "Ive got Rhythm" progression. GREAT STUFF!
Ahh, surely you jest- I am an amateur among amateurs. I have fun though, and just listen to a lot of jazz and try my best to imitate and develop the style that I enjoy.
This is with the Leslie 125 (the most reviled Leslie due to it's lack of an upper rotor) on the Hammond A100. If you don't have a Leslie and don't have a lot of money, you can pick one of these up for less that $350.
Anyone know what his drawbars are set at?

Great playing & definitely rich sound. Was this played through your Leslie only or did you also use the A100 internal speaker?

Leslie 125 only... about 6 ft from camera.

We liked the old B3 at Abbey Road studio so much our producer/bandmember bought a vintage A100 w/leslie for our next LP. Sweet it is man!

It belonged to an old lady who bought it in 1962... so it never got moved or saw any abuse in church. It's perfect :)

This sounds more like "All The Things You Are" than Autumn Leaves. Am I mistaken?

Yeah- it's very similar... not quite the same though

Bravo! Very well played and sounding really good!! If you can read music and play by ear both, that will really help you to advance.
