That is awesome animation. I remember a bunch of shows being like that when I was growing up in the '90s, but most modern stuff is done with computer animation and doesn't have the same feel to it (that's not necessarily bad). One modern show that uses this kind of painstaking animation is Superjail!, which pack in so much detail that it's almost overwhelming. This animation really reminds me of that show.
