Grummer delivering Eva's trill - more heart attack material! But what a way to go! Unforgettable footage. Along with the Rheingold you generously posted, this is museum quality material.

I happen to like this production very much, and thought Windgassen was a sensitive, thoughtful Walther. A real poet. And Greindl, one of the greatest of all Wagnerians, as was Windgassen, was surprisingly effective as Sachs.
