what exactly IS a hunter derby?!

@x0joeyandtex0x it's two rounds - the first is a normal hunter round and the second is a handy hunter round. the fences are 3'6"-3'9" mostly, with option fences at 4'. the harder turns you take, the bigger jumps you choose, and the better your horse jumps/the overall look of the rounds, the more 'bonus' points you get - added onto the normal score out of 100 per judge. and the jumps are supposed to look more natural, like they're out of a hunt field.

dang it must be so hard to judge classes that have all the top horses and riders in them... they all do sooooooo good haha I love this horse though I agree she(he??no i think she... lol) is one of my favorites :)
