its quite easy to do, the bold is built very solidly compared to the newer blackberrys out now. ive taken mine apart plenty of times and it can be done just by following the many tutorials people have posted right on youtube

The phone is an original Bold that i purchased replacement parts for so your argument about it being a cheap chinese knock off is just ignorant. Gold is hotter than silver, the Bold comes with a silver colored bezel, i bought a gold one, plus a nice carbon fiber back so how does it make the phone look cheap? Get your facts AND your money straight, stop being a hater and maybe just maybe you won't wake up with the need to e-hate.

Yah I did that myself. I have one just like the one you are getting. I just posted the video up today. Yes the buttons will still be silver but it does not look bad. You barely notice it to be very honest.
