  • i think my biggest problem is getting a routine for practicing now i have a decent routine of 40 to 50 minutes a day and thanks for the warm up tips.

  • this was really helpful - I just had my first guitar lesson today. At 37 - with what I felt like 'geriatric' fingering!

  • Great video! It was just what I needed...I just got a new guitar after 5 years of not playing, and it's going much better this time. This video addressed all my concerns, gave some great tips, and also made me want to read some musical theory! I'll have to check out the other videos!!

  • hey...

i have a question...first of all ive been playing for a while and my technique i feel is very good, sweep picking, alternate, tapping etc...i mostly play metal, but i would like to jam w more musicianship. I was wondering if you can explain certain "jamming" terms like 135, 145, chord proggressions in Amaj etc...

    thanks

  • @ialvarez357

The idea of 1 - 4 - 5 (etc.) has to do with Chord movements inside of a key.

For example; if we were in the key of, G, (major or minor), the G

chord would be the 1 and the 4 would be C with the 5 being D chord.

    It's just that easy!

    Thanks for watching,

    Andrew Wasson
