The book Annabeth had blond hair, Grover had curly hair. On this Percy looks like 15 he is supposed to be 12 on Lighing Thief only on the other book he's supposed to be 15... wait....Mr.Brunner (Chiron) is only supposed to say he's the son of Poseidon when he's on Camp Half-Blood. When is he on the roof making waves ? cause i dont remember that on the book. And same thing for the part with him on the pool with Grover timing him.

nice movie but.... ares was suppose to be the one to trick percy about the bolt and fight him, and luke is suppose to try to kill percy then disappear. clarisse is suppose to be in the show and tyson is the one who gave percy the shield not luke. they are suppose to be age 12 cuz of the great prophecy thing which is the whole purpose of the story. ... shall reach sixteen against all odds... but if they are already sixteen in the movie well... and i kinda like to see the oracle just curious. hehe

they totally strayed from the plot of the book, and the plot they made was TERRIBLE!!! the freakin hydra (although it was pretty sweet) wasnt even in the book, plus they totally took out the ares subplot. I WANTED TO SEE ARES! they made the characters way too old cause theyre supposed to be 12 not 15 or whatever and they even got the persephone myth wrong cause its SUMMER in the movie NOT WINTER! overall i guess they were focused more on action not plot. it was a kids movie.

Ok seriously. I loved that book. And I remember a lot of the details. Aren't the main characters supposed to be 12? Doesn't Annabeth have Blond hair? Is Ares even IN the movie? He plays a MAJOR role. And, from what I know, percy was never on the roof of a building, making wave around him. He wasn't at a pool. His mom is supposed to be pretty! (Sigh) What have these people done?

Maybe they mixed it with The Last Olympian that's why the characters are so old...anyway, who would want to replace Logan? Ha, ha. It's a very good book, and the movie's great too even though they missed a LOT of details. I just hated the fact that they don't know that 'dye' even exists. I mean, Annabeth is suppose to have blonde hair! That's one of her greatest characteristic mentioned throughout the book!

@SpinDashpro look i read the book too. the add stuff to make it and action/adventure movie so he didnt get on the rrof of a building and make waves around him but the book said he did fight Luke because he was the real lightning theif. but everyone else blamed Perdcy when clearly the reason Lukes sheild was shronger was because of Zeus's master bolt in it. and when they find out tthat Percy didnt steal it he tells zeus that luke took it. to know the facts you nned to read between the lines!!!!!!

@SpinDashpro theyve fit a whole book series into a movie and had to make some cutbacks, however significant. its a good movie by recent movie standards, and it connects very well with greek mythology. people keep saying they mutilated the book, and they did in terms of reference, but one cant say its a bad movie just because the books were different. and the movie had some pros. the book scarcely explained how they ended up in medusas lair, while the movie presented a plot that required them to.

the director said that in the book, the author makes the kids sound like young adults. so he thought that it would be good to try and use actual young adults..they're 17 btw...and he wanted to change some stuff in the movie to make it more action packed and interesting. he didn't mean to upset any fans
