  • how much does the dish cost

  • @poofgone576 - we stock a range of dishes depending on your location and circumstances at the moment the cheapest dish is 34.99 GBP - you can see the range on the website maplin(dot)co(dot)uk - go to tv and satellite from the main navigation and into dishes from there

  • i just got a satellite dish and i can only get 26% signal level after hours of tweaking... does dish size make a difference? because i have a 43cm zone 1 dish. would a 60cm dish make a big difference?

  • a 60CM should make it much easier to find a stronger signal!

  • I have owned a Techomate receiver for 2 years. Never regretted it! One picks up 1000's of free foreign stations. Many, esp. the German and Italian one's offer free entertainment. Great, also, for learning foreign languages. You can pick up cheap satellite systems in places such as Lidl's,Staple's etc. If you buy a dear set-still worth it. There's more scope. Log into Alsat. Great place for info' on sat systems. You may have to find someone to tune into the satellites up there. Still worth it.

  • Anyone got one of these? Was thinking of getting one and want to know what there like.
