nice ideas, good movements, well done choreography ... however, just in case you want real criticism (on a high level): both of you lack bodily tension in more than only one or two moments. Check yourself, it's almost in all movements that are between 'scheduled' parts. And you forgot one fact: the man leads, the lady follows. She is 'anticipating' too much, too visibly. That mustn't be in real Tango If you really wanna know more, mail me.

Tango assassinated. Just remember that tango is a social dance that is improvised. Every step,or change of lead, is communicated in realtime, which is what gives the impression of passion.Tango must be lived, not copied. If not it just becomes gymnastics.

I think they probably know that it's not pure tango. He clearly says 'our made dance' ... I think they just wanted to try a mix of tango and ballet, which they did really well, although I prefer the real tango, which has more sharp and abrupt moves, and more passion as well. Keep on the good work!

..Just some tips in character, in tango, eye contact is KEY to make it more passionate, their faces must show strong emotions as well as in the dancing :)

Way to stiff and stacato and to much "up in the air"! Tango, tango argentino that is, is suposed to be grounded, sensual and you should be abel to see the two bodies speak to each other and see the energy flow between them. Watch some of the tango clips from the movie "The tango lesson" and you'll know what I mean, but keep trying and learning!

Definatly seems more ballet than tango. This sometimes works for example the beautiful lift section arouns 2:00 but at other times like 3:19 and 3:38 its a little cringe. The boy also need much more masculinity for this dance, the feminine touch to his dancing is not very tango at all. Some nice moments though.

Pretty good choreography, nice form, but not such a great music choice. The Assassins Tango is a very tango-ish song, in my opinion you should use mostly Argentine tango steps. From watching this, I noticed more ballet, and a few E.C. Swing steps. Overall it was pretty good though. I don't really like the idea of mixing ballroom styles up so much, but I'm kind of a freak about that stuff. When I performed the Assassins tango we used strictly tango lifts and dips.

you are both obviously talented dancers, and you have great posture and control, but adding a few sharp movements to ballet does not equal tango. I know it may seem beneath you, since you are both obviously trained dancers, but i suggest taking some tango classes. It'll help you with the little tango nuances you simply can't learn in ballet

Your ballet skills were impressive but where was the angst, passion, drama and story of any good tango. It looked very rehearsed as in it didnt flow. you just need to work on the way you hold yourselves as in your frame, your faces and the movements need to be fluid yet hard, like they can't be soft happy movements.

it has great potential.. but your ballet technique is very obvious, especially in how you hold your partner, and how you communicate to them. in some spots, it feels a little clumsy, whereas it should be fully fluid (but I think that's just from practice)... the moves are great, but if you watch tango, you can see that in any good one, there is always a story, and that story comes from the connection between partners... i think there a lack here. but GREAt otherwise! keep dancing, its beautiful!
