the one advantage this has over numark's NS7 is that the platter is a full 12 inches. other than that the NS7 is a better controller.

you have to admit this is less lazy than other controllers since it encourages manual beatmatching. nothing is fun about watching some dude push buttons to sync his tracks.

People are not getting lazy, they are getting smarter. . . Neil Postman tells us that the medium is the message, and when you dj the medium is sound. The equipment is evolving just as communication is evolving, and most especially EDM is evolving. Becoming more complex, intricate, unexpected....the new technology allows you to get that touch dj feel which is the biggest bonus from vinyl , and also gives you the freedom to take your mixes places people never had imagined twenty years ago.

I have that product, and I must say, its beta. you cant use it with two decks and stanton is not able to say when it will be possible.
Quality is not what you expecting for that money, somewhere between M-AUDIO and vestax.
Not real MIDI, building your own preset is highly complicated.
Scratching is fine. The Idea is good, but it isnt a product ready for the market. I would not buy it again! More Info you find in the stanton forum.

YAWN. What the dj/performer is using is irrelevant. Was it a good set? If you are asking any other question it's about your ego not what it is supposed to be about, music. Just ask Hawtin, or Cox, etc.
