@TertiusOculusOris I want only to inform you that this researcher is one of the most reputable, and trustworthy crypt o zoologists in our field. If you read only ten documented eye-witness encounters, you will quickly come to the conclusion that they have common similarities and they were life changing events. Surely out of 500 plus encounters reported last year that someone is telling the truth.
The first track they showed (The "Frazier" track?) looked like a big cat print to me. The rounded pad with four smaller rounded pads for the toes. No sign of claw marks which would be seen on bear or dog tracks. Also most bear tracks I have seen have a larger "pad" area. It is a pretty good sized track (looked like 4-5 inches wide and 5-6 long). If there are cougar/mountain lion in the area (not sure about that) I would be looking that direction for identification.
"Fraizer Print" resembles a bear. Bigfoot IMO is real but at present remains a mystery. The biggest problem with presnt day researchers is they seem to parrot oneanother. Examples would be; tree knocks, tree breaks, rock clapping and numerous others. By their reports of Bigfoot activity they all use the same examples I have mentioned. This is more than a coincidence it is caused by advances made in electronic communication such as BolgTalk radio shows on the internet.
I'm a skeptical person by nature. So I'd really like to see one so that I could form my own opinion. That said, I also don't just summarily dismiss that they could exist out of hand either? The uninhabited areas of the forest and jungles of the world cover a vast territory. I think naive, and damn arrogant on the part of humans to believe every primate species on earth is known about. They're obviously a pretty smart species. Because they've gone to great length's to avoid human contact. JMO.

I agree this animal should be left in peace. However, that's not going to happen until it is irrefutably proven to exist. We can't realistically protect a species that is not recognized by the scientific community. They will be hunted, their habitats will be destroyed, and people will foolishly tromp into harm's way, as these creatures will defend themselves and their young!

Some have been proved fake. Most have not. Some have been determined to be extremely unlikely to be faked due to the amt of details found not only in single prints but throughout entire track lines.
