It's so true, when I smoke I can produce endless amounts of music that sound better than anything I've ever made sober. It's pretty incredible when used in the right ways

@Buttsrgreat -- yeah, right? and based off his last four flicks, imo, he should take a break from movie-making for a while -- or at least choose between that and this guest speaker / podcaster / critic / celebrity gossiper / blog writer thing as a full-time gig. he certainly has a gift for unscripted, live speaking.
bill hicks is more concern with our futur, carlin is smarter but more bitter because he died much older, both are awesome, you just get more body of work from carlin
Was at the gig, it was brilliant, over 3¼ hours on stage, all of it improvised and consistently funny! Other comedians should take note. Have to say though, Carlin at Carnegie was one of George Carlin's WORST HBO specials. Carlin didn't really start getting that good until Jammin' In New York in 1992, and he peaked around the time of You Are All Diseased, especially the closing 10 minute rant that climaxes with him announcing "There is no Humpty Dumpty, and there is no God".
I know I am probably in the minority for this, but I enjoy carlin's earlier stuff SO much more than his later. I still repeatedly listen to the Little David Years and it never gets less funny.
Also, thanks for posting this HandJobFilms. Kevin Smith is a fucking genius and I cant wait till he does his gig in Boston.
When's part two coming?? I don't suppose you got any footage of the crazy girl on that stole his guinness (that would be me :D)... If i don't come up with proof soon, people are going to stop believing me lol
